  1. Hi I'm just wondering if there are any good uses for this piece http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=64451 i got it in the 8071 and it doesn't seem to be used in any MOCs
  2. No instructions, but you could try and reverse engineer from the pics of each of the modules. It'll be tough but worth it if you succeed
  3. You could flip the differential, but the switch is a better idea as you won't have to disassemble
  4. Nice! I'm not really familiar with this vehicle but it looks accurate
  5. Nice and accurate
  6. Nice work
  7. Wow that is so accurate. Its looks are absolutely spot on
  8. Looks great The details are amazing
  9. Thanks! I think my phone's camera is just bad as it's an old S2. Once I finish, I'll take some proper pics with a DSLR
  10. Well it's been a long time since the last update, but I'm back and I've changed a lot. Her's the usual overall shot. Since last time i've shortened the chassis by 4-5 studs and added a cab Her's a pic of the overall cab. I decided to keep the 8258 decals so it has similar looks, but is 99 % original. Please give suggestions on how to improve the current looks. I also can't figure out a way to make good seats . Also how about that Imperial logo The cab opens to reveal the 2 switches I placed there for lights Here's a bottom shot. The drive is now 2 XL motors geared down to a ratio of about 5:1 (Thanks Sariel's calculator) But wait where's the BB? its buried in there pretty deep, but it's actually quite easy to remove Steering is done through knob wheels and a clutch gear My next problem is how to route all these wires plus the pneumatics for the dump . i also have a faulty switch which simply doesn't work when I move it Any solutions for that? As always all suggestions and ideas are really appreciated
  11. Stunning. Looks just like the real thing
  12. That all folds up very compactly
  13. Very close to the original. Nice work
  14. Great work. Never seen a Technic sailboat before
  15. Is it a V10? If so I'm guessing Audi R8. Or is it that M3 you were working on sometime back?
  16. Definitely open it and steamroll. The RC motors are a luxury few of us get so make use of them
  17. Nice work. My only complaint is that the panel usage is a bit over excessive. All the gaps are filled nicely, but the bodywork doesn't flow well
  18. That's a really cool idea. Could you post some pictures or an LDD file
  19. Take a look at Jennifer Clark's skid steer loader which is pneumatic, compact, and very detailed and functional for its scale http://rebrickable.c...neumatic-bobcat Another option is Guiluig's loader which can also steer. It is a larger model with a mix of motorized and pneumatic functions and has both skid steer and regular steering which IMO seems very interesting http://rebrickable.c...s/GuiliuG/gg001 The final option is build your own I haven't built either, but the 2 above MOCs both seem very well done and I hope to build Jennifer Clark's model sometime in the future.
  20. Nice work. it's all very compact too
  21. Wanna share some? . I'll probably be building this model sometime next year. Are there any other rare parts aside from the wheel covers and connectors?
