Now here is something that just came to my attention awhile ago. I'm probably not the first to have this idea but it worthy that it should be mentioned, imagine if we took this part below to the next step and instead of a having a slop at the ends we have that Technic round end we know so well then it be a kind of Studdless hybrid brick end.

When it comes to building with Studded Technic bricks you faced with multiple options when it comes to how you build with the Technic Bricks you either have the Technic hole inline with the Stud or its going to be offset in the center of two studs. However that is just dealing with the bricks with round Holes O. For Axle holes + you have only one choice and that is the offset one. It would be awesome to see Bricks with Axle holes inline with the stud as well but that is another story for now. With Studded design there is way more potential that has barley even been tap yet when it comes to creating with Studded Beams over Studless. For Studless the best length a beam can have before connecting more beams is 15. The length for studded design can be longer with out sacrifice to it width and it will always remain a one stud wide because your making a vertical connection along the top and bottom with 1x?? Plates instead of that horizontal friction pin connection for studdless.

How about instead which one is method of building is better we find which one is the better over the other at what it can do. For me Studded resembles like American standard inch while Studdess is more like European metric system and because of this difference makes the Studded build little bit more intricate when it comes to fitting studded parts with in the Studdless pattern.

I dont think he needs this kind of autovalve compressor that doubles as a switch. He just needs something to pump and hold air for his air ride suspension. The Autovalve works differently to how an air suspension should work. Here the main difference between the two, instead of using air to move the suspension down as with the Autovalve you instead open a valve up and release the air from the cylinder to bring the suspension down.

Awesome work! Thanks for the instructions. I love it when you replicate stuff LEGO. This one is simply the best.

Easy Answer is Friction. Do you see the bumps at the ends on Black this creates friction. Notice how it is smooth for the Grey one.

Parts you'd like to come back
Boxerlego replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Not really parts but it still Technic. I would like to see Technic Figures make a come back. -
Well First you must understand what is it your going to build with LEGO to determine whether or not Legal/Illegal building techniques will get you there. Basically put what is it your going to build ultimately determines how you go about building it. Most of the time LEGO is built with Legal Techniques because this is standard method of building. Then once you understand that form of building then you can elevate you building techniques and now welcome to LEGO Technic where today the Sky is the limit. With Technic, building the LEGO correct way has always been in a progressive evolution and the way to build was directly influenced upon with each new set LEGO produced. With these new sets came new LEGO parts that ultimately sculpted the way you went about building. Some could say that the creation of some of these New LEGO parts came about due to illegal building methods. Think about what Faefrost is saying here for a moment when it come to illegal Techniques. This is what fun for me... Building with LEGO, Using your hands, Solving problems. Building to me is more a skill. Legal or Illegal building techniques, LEGO building Skill will always be there and that is overall what is interesting for me.

My first Post

I just watched the video. Nicely done, I barley even noticed the SBrick was even in there. The Lincoln looks good and for its size you did a good job at motorizing it. -
I knew what this was just by reading the title. That Clutch looks hot. I like the hand craft LEGO material used here, I think it would go great with these LEGO stilettos. How much for the full dress.

Lego bricks with crosses (+) instead of round knobs
Boxerlego replied to bemuser's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Looks like Technic axle are the studs here. Do these Axle stud fit with Technic. My guess is that it is some very old LEGO parts but because there is no logo, it could be from something else. -

Hello there, welcome to eurobrick's. The Lincoln looks great. Nice work! I'm surprised you used an Sbrick after 17 years of not building. How long have you been building this beauty. Can you show what is under the hood and how the model looks underneath. -
Rube gold berg machine are more like dominoes type contraptions where a several things got to happen in order to do something very simple like pouring a hot water in a coffee cup. You are right about GBC having to operating as Rube Goldberg type machines but GBS's are more along the lines of moving ball from point to point as you say and upon saying that I present to you the Ultimate GBC machine.
