  1. Now that looks awesome! Each buggy motor has it own LiPo battery pack and Sbrick. Do you need two smart phones to work this or just the one.
  2. Transmission 2 AD3851 Maian 17 Location: Jen's Star Caves According to my reports from the Utility bot, water is somewhere in this cave. I have send out a request for supplies for water extraction. The utility bot has already cleared an area out for the acquisition of supplies near the cave entrance. Shipping Reports said the the supplies will come soon and the bot gives me estimate completion for date for the water extraction sometime next week. Right now I'm going to explore this cave out in further detail then the maps the bot has made me and plot some of this underground water supply my self. During this time I'm going to figure out a efficient Water system so we can begin extracting water soon as possible out this cave.
  3. Welcome to Octan Corp Engineer Big Z Welcome to Octan corp Scientist Comrade Commander
  4. Reporting back from Jen's Star with good news. This morning the Utility bot has reported that it acoustic sensors have pick up the activity of water somewhere in this cave. I'm going to scout the cave out further and put eyes on this water. I've sent out request to send down supplies for water extraction. Utility Bot over night has already cleared an area close to the cave for the acquisition of supplies.
  5. Octan Model T Utility Bot Brief Technical information Description: The Model T Utility Bot is a mobile construction compound capable of equipping a range of equipment to get the job done, from magnets to collect metals out of the rock rubble to grab arms that can do more then grab. Model T has a wide array of sensors that sever both as it ears and it eyes, it can detect sounds along with pin pointing that sound's origins combined with acoustic imaging so that it can map around corners and beyond walls and cliffs. Even though the Utility bot is design to be a mobile construction bot it can also sever well as a Sentry bot and can equip a good range of light and heavy armaments.
  6. Thanks everyone for the comments, about the lighting in the picture, I made it sort of dark to represent the time of day. I will continue on with the story later today. Here is a LDD picture of the Model T Utility Bot.
  7. Whoa, that is awesome build! Nice work on the floating platform.
  8. That looks amazing! Excellent start I have just reported from Landing on to Jen's Star.
  9. I just released my report about Landing on Jen's Star.
  10. Transmission 1 AD3851 Maian 16 Location: Jen's Star After a long trip in space I finally made it to Jen's Star. It was a rough landing along side of the mountains. Octan corp has Let me test out their new Model T Utility Bot. Its specialty is in construction but right now its has been good at uprooting plants and moving rocks. I've been searching along side this rocky mountain ridge for signs of water flow. Took me some time to find but I finally come across a mountain side minerals deposit and according to what I was taught only water can do that. Scanners are picking up loads of minerals in that deposit but it looks too dangerous for me to excavate intensively, Plus Night is falling upon me and I need to get some rest after the long hike today but lucky the Utility Bot never sleep. The Bot has also reported about picking up the sound of running water but that is way to far at the moment to journey to at this time of hour. I'm going to take shelter in the cave up ahead. End of Transmission Edit: Image was remade and new one was posted with more visibility
  11. Backstory: Boxerlego grew up in a junkyard and was raised by a master engine builder. Now fresh out of the Octane Technical Engineering Academy with his engineering talents. Boxerlego is ready to start building for Octane Corporation.
  12. That is going to be hard for me to do, Black is a very common part for me while White is well it not so much. I have lots of white bricks and that is probably about it. Since I am engineer can my none role builds feature different display of colors?
  13. I have a question; Do my builds have to be built around the primary color.
  14. Wow that looks awesome. I'm looking forward for the reveal to see what kind of motors it going to use.
  15. OK I have read everything, Boxerlego singing up for Octan Corporation as Engineer. here is my sigifg
  16. Looks nice. The gearbox works great. Excellent work on everything from the model to the video.
  17. 42041 is a Good Set

  18. I guess my LEGO would probably smell like something between a scented candle and wood.
  19. I basically got the servo motor for free with the all the savings I had accumulated
  20. That makes sense. The interesting thing about the 42041 I bought is that on the May the 4th I saw it go on sale at LEGO shop and I got one for a discounted price good enough price that it basically knocked down the price of the servo motor to like $10. Now the set is back to its normal price value. I like the fact that they re-release this set. When it comes to out of production parts I can understand the need to stay with the current line-up, but when it comes obsolete parts like certain panels, suspensions, gears, and along with other miscellaneous parts. Those are the parts that usually are improved upon with every new release. For the 42041 I can see that they had the idea to improve the little things around the Tire Rims and Engine Blocks but when it comes to the building aspect nothing was truly improved upon. set that is worthy of begin fix or better reinforced and here with the re-release would have been a good opportunity to answer those problems.
  21. This blue buggy looks very light and fast. Excellent work on it. I like your yellow buggy model. I made a red buggy of it. Even though it does not have a direct direct drive train connection to the motor like your more recent model this buggy is very compact and solid. The way you have added caster to the front tire is really neat, it reminds how I built and added caster angle on the front axle on my one of my Monster truck
  22. It has everything to do with function. You don't relies it but Studded construction sometime need to be measured on the mircometer scale and that is much smaller tolerance then cm other wise the friction inside an engine would be to much and the piston would never function properly.
  23. Most of the time you want to use the friction pin for your connections. Only the frictionless one comes in handy when it has motion involved in it something like a tire specifically. An axle sometimes can work as well if not better as a frictionless pin. That is very true. In some case it better to use friction pins over the one with out friction.
  24. This sound like a job for fabric softener, dryer sheets specifically.
  25. Excellent work on the Ludo game Great Job!
