  1. Every comment should be positive.... it is an awesome moc. Great job!!
  2. What exactly are you building with the techniques everyone is offering from your various posts? Do you have enough parts for all of this?
  3. @Technic Jim, it looks to be an exact replica of the 5580 which is not powered.
  4. The 3 year model clearly shows the time invested. What a gift that builder has.
  5. Thank goodness for the NHRA here in the USA. I would hate to not see cars like this in real life. Great job on achieving the shapes. It's nice to see form over function every once in a while. Keep up the great work.
  6. Do you have pictures of the past two years of MOD's?
  7. Before sorting everything into Akro Mills bins I first broke down 2x 9395, 1X 9392 into one of those 6qt Sterilite shoe box containers which included tires. Right there is around 1900+ pieces with room to spare. Now the 8110 has larger tires so you may be best to just break sets down into large freezer style zip lock bags then put them in a larger bin for storage.
  8. Swap out your battery box. I had a bad one from my 9398 which caused the L motors to squeal and stall out
  9. @Richard: what do you mean when you say you have no way to buy the wheels? I just checked Bricklink, tires start at 27 cents. Ebay is the worst place to buy lego period.
  10. I own 4 of the v2 ir receivers. 2 from official sets and 2 from Bricklink. What confuses me is the fact that the V2 stamp is printed different on all of them! How can one tell if you are actually buying V2 and not some stamped copy?
  11. This is probably one of your best moc's. Great functions and styling in a small scale. Very nice!
  12. I'm not entirely sure what RPM stands for. My local store uses that term. Basically larger sets that have a damaged box are considered RPM which means they offer additional points at time of purchase. For example when I bought the UCS x-wing I paid 199.99 USD and received 200 VIP points plus 500 RPM points. I always go to the check out counter asking if they have any damaged boxes in the back for this very reason. Generally they only offer this bonus for expensive damaged boxes.
  13. The only issue with eBay or Bricklink you don't obtain VIP points which really do help especially during double points months. Not to mention the RPM boxes lego stores keep in their storage rooms worth an additional 500 points at the time of purchase.
  14. I like this BMX and bike MOC's in general. At this rate there should be a technic bike building contest.
  15. Busterhaus, Paul (crowkillers) didn't start the topic the other Paul "B" did. I simply stated I seen Paul (crowkillers) wearing his own merch.... he isn't here to get rich, he looks to be assisting and suprised at the replies.
  16. Crowkillers has his MOC cut away CAD pictures printed on shirts. Pretty sure I seen in one of his videos :)
  17. The truck at 10:00 min mark interests me. I am curious about the dual differentials inside the cab and how they work together and what point they serve.
  18. As everyone else said, unbelievable attention to detail!!!
  19. Just make a saved setting alert on bricklink already. You spend way to much for all parts on ebay. Why do you keep avoiding bricklink and starting topics that clutter up this forum? The #3 red connector has been discussed over and over, please use the search button.
  20. Are there close up pictures of the front axle? The front axle has been mentioned several times. Never mind found the moc review page.
  21. If you are not going to make instructions maybe you could team up with one of the great instruction designers here on EB. Such a waste not to document the option of building this beauty.
  22. What a fantastic recreation. Great attention to detail and thorough write up.
  23. @DrJB: I own WeDo. It contains quite a bit of technic, powerfunctions and programming. Why wouldn't WeDo belong here? Where are you getting your forum statistics? There might be poeple out there that do not wish to fork over tons of cash to buy Mindstorms and opt to buy WeDo to start off with. By the way 50% of your topics get moved to other forums anyways. Lol.
  24. I like the fact that the axles are in line with each other however I am not familiar with true Tata wheel alignment. Looks awesome at a great small scale!
