  1. lol Yahoo!! *snigger*... I think you should go into rival advent production :D
  2. Very nice, I love how you have embraced the smaller build requirement, but still packed it full of nice wee details. They really bring something like this to life :D Great work and good luck in the competition!
  3. This is a great wee MOC in progress, just needs those little detail touches (like what LT said above) to bring it to life. Some work on the roof, interiors and street-scape will really make this MOC pop :D Really good work kgflego!
  4. This is a really beautiful MOC. The build is elegant and has an air of simplicity, but with impeccable detailing. Much like the actual building that it is based on. The central courtyard is my favourite...though I am an architect who is a sucker for internal courtyards :)
  5. simply.........my god........I am in awe!!! What an amazing build and the design really captures the architectural qualities of buildings of it's time. Fantastic!!!!
  6. Step aside Soccerkid6....there's a family prodigy about to pass you by :P fantastic work on the detailing and the understanding of the inspiration model. With a few colour and detail changes he has made it his own! Great work!
  7. This is looking great Lego Family! I love the classic town feel to your builds and how your capturing some elements of life in your city! ill be glued to this thread to see how it goes :D
  8. Can't wait to see this brickbuilt Jopie, I love the little details that bring the whole MOC to life. I also like the really angry mechanic with his trolley :P
  9. Hey LT....long time no chat :) this is another wee masterpiece from the wizard of 'old school' lego builds. I'd love to see your style given the Lego series treatment...they are a great addition between the playtime element of CITY and the uber expensive Modular :D
  10. This is a really cool and original entry...good luck in the competition!
  11. I loved your RCT series, and now I love these...god bless you Yooha
  12. I really like what you have done here...I have been keeping my eye on some HH sets on ebay and hopefully be adding this to my collection. Great work!
  13. This is a fantastic MOC Modular! I love how the building is less 'sideways shoebox' and brings a different urban feel to the modular world. I can't wait to see it in an overall layout. Some brilliant architectural details and the choice of material differences (colours) is very 90s UK :P
  14. This is a really original idea. I love the detailing and the fact that its motorised. Great work timmy, I hope my entry will stack up (once I get it done) :P
  15. I like what you have achieved with this MOC, as I have dabbled with a police building a wee while back. The only things I would look at is your main entrance and trying to make it more of a 'main entrance' in detail and scale. The fantastic lettering (all the rage these days with modern architects :P) just diminishes it a little. Also the scale of your floor levels look a wee bit out of place, especially stacked up against the other modulars. Great work though and great interior work so far!
  16. Oooo cutting it fine here....been a wee bit distracted with my latest Modular purchase 'Pet Shop'....which has inspired this decoration! The wee girl is posting her letter to Santa, watched over by her Dad. Wonder who is watching the store though?? Anyway, thanks for this great raffle EB and Happy Holidays to all you AFOL's out there...hope you get all the Lego you have asked the big guy for :D Nollaig chridheil huibh!!!!
  17. This is a fantastic idea for a City layout...and even in a small build, the attention to detail is excellent. I wouldn't want to be the min-fig's union representative though...he won't be a happy worker!! Having to deal with the groundworks, block-work, timber-kit, brick-work and drainage single handedly :D Amazing work :)
  18. I love the helicopters, they remind me of the classic police helicopter set I had as a kid. Except these are way cooler and are on some uber-maschismo steriods :D

    MOC: Suburb

This is quite simply amazing work and the level of skill and attention of detail is superb. I look forward to the next instalment from the amazing (yet crazy) world :D
  20. Looking good LT...I love the work on the Petrol Station canopy and pumps. I would say the 'Tyre/Auto' Centre facade might need a touch of detailing at roof level to break up the blank white plain.
  21. Hey Kristel I love your work here (as usual) and with a possibility of acquiring the Haunted House soon, I'm even more over the moon with your PDF instructions to get a complete newbie like me started on the MOC modular road. Going back to your original thoughts on what might not be quite right, I have looked over your exterior work and I think I can see a wee architectural issue that is throwing your eye. Because you have taken it to the 16 wide scale and using single width windows, the detail around your windows are a wee bit heavy. I reckon the the profile of the grey projections need to be shallower and possibly thinner than the width of a brick. The detail at the moment would suit a wider larger window. But saying that....its beautiful work and your interiors are exceptional :D
  22. Nice job...I like the way you have managed to pack so much into the 32x32...great work!
  23. Possibly one wee bricklink order away from the entry :P...bring it Aussies
  24. I think with the restricted area I've left myself...ill try to follow the 'open back' style and show a suggestion of interior detail. If only a wee 16x32 side plate was allowed
