  1. And then you could have it as open OR closed, which is good, and its a lot easier to see how your model's doing. I like this idea, although I think you'd have to cap how many you can vote for
  2. Awesome Tatra And numskull... I think you need to see someone
  3. Very hard, I literally picked the entries I liked the look of/best presented from the entry topic (although I had been following a few WIP topics, but you can't follow 57 after being on holiday for a week ) but here's my vote: 1: 2 3: 2 5: 2 9: 2 22: 1 28: 1 31: 1 35: 1 41: 2 46: 3 52: 1 54: 1 57: 1
  4. This is really nice, looks great!
  5. well then, proves that Lego should've been able to put all these functions into a model with 9 times the amount of pieces! your model even looks recognisable as a Tumbler with these amount of pieces, really nice work!
  6. In Britain it's £170=$290USD and 215Euro (my keyboard doesn't have the symbol) so possibly the cheapest if you take into account VAT in the US, normally in Britain it's slightly more than Europe
  7. Well you know where to find a ball cleaner *cough* *cough*
  8. well the wheels are ~3 studs wide, each. so that'd mean you'd only have 6 studs to play with, I hope you don't want diffs seriously though, no I don't think it's possible or at least not for someone with my talent Edit: with the wheels this is 16 studs... 10. I'm a bit confused what is the difference between the £29 package and the £40 package?
  11. This is a nice model, I like it. how does the bucket tip?
  12. Really interesting, I'd like to get one, but I don't have the spare money to kickstart it sorry I think this project has a lot of potential, keep going with it
  13. Like that big ugly thing from the Lego city sets? no thank you, that ruins the essence of Technic IMO, I can see why they make separate buckets, but you can make perfectly good dumper beds with normal Technic and Lego system plates etc Although in saying that, maybe they could've added additional pieces/panels to pad it out a bit and make it slightly less holey. They've done this before with the 8929 Cherry Picker, which had a big Lego plate to act as the dumper bed, although the overall design needed a bit more refining
  14. Our inhouse businessman at work here but yeah this is the perfect kind of project to do this kind of thing with
  15. 42030 is good as it contains L, XL and servo motors
  16. These are circular blades though which are safer
  17. 9398, or the new 42030 are your best bets
  18. really cool and very imaginative but I cant see this being sold as a Lego set due to health and safety... (once again H&S is ruining our day )
  19. I still build on the floor... or my desk if I decide to tidy it
  20. To take better photo's take a look at Sariel's excellent tutorial - http://sariel.pl/201...ssing-tutorial/ Good photo's make models stand out a lot better, which this model should be
