  2. I think thats just the difference between the european and american versions...
  3. I'm going to agree with shadowhearth, the front is a bit too steep, the rest of the model and its performance is great though
  4. Working for me again too now, thanks a lot
  5. Its now down for me, it wasn't yesterday....
  6. Kart tyres are actually surprisingly small. So he has that about right, however the nose comes out too far over the front wheels. Good MOC anyhow
  7. Piece count is around 1,150 (I added it up from a picture that someone posted of the back of the booklet and a few of the numbers were a bit hard to read)
  8. I know where you got that information from about BMW - Top Gear . Anyway, That is the problem with the Chinese....
  9. You mean like someone who's been building their own MOC's beforehand then is employed by Lego? if that is the case, then yes, and very recently too. Milan Reindl, who is known a "Grohl" in the Technic Community has been employed by Lego since April however it was announced in November, refer to this TechnicBricks article for more information. http://www.technicbricks.com/2012/11/an-afol-made-lego-technic-designer.html
  10. You are absolutely correct shadowhearth... unfortunately the chinese copy everything, from iPad's to BMW's. I personally don't see whats wrong with buying the original product! which in this case, is Lego.
  11. Lipko, are you sure you don't have anger management problems...?? although I do agree with everything you have just said, cloning is a serious problem, I mainly buy used sets nowadays, as they're cheaper so I can buy more of them, and I do need to be careful about cloned parts, especially when I buy a mixed bag of pieces... luckily I have managed to avoid cloned parts, although I wish the companies who do it will stop, its bad. Lego could take them to court probably...
  12. I think your best bet is to use Sariel's diff lock with the new style diff and then brace it...
  13. I love this technical and mechanical masterpiece it is so complicated and very well executed!
  14. I thought it was a wish and I have heard about these rumours too . as for the set number, we shall see...
  15. I'm going to try this tomorrow , and I will restrain myself from motorising it... and I will probably motorise the drive and steering...
  16. This is amazing , I like how you did the outriggers And you aren't alone Makorol, I like British trucks too
  17. but would they make it with a set number in the middle of the Technic set numbers? Maybe they are going to use power functions...
  18. I saw it on Flickr the other day, it is incredible
  19. I used Brickset (http://www.brickset.com/browse/themes/?theme=Technic) to source the information on set numbers and names, I am also confused about what the "mystical" 42003 set is... I look forward to finding out!
  20. To make this clearer.... January sets: 42002 hovercraft 42004 mini backhoe loader 42006 excavator 42007 motocross bike 42010 off road racer 42011 racecar March sets: 42000 grand prix racer August sets: 42001 off road racer 42005 monster truck 42008 service truck 42009 mobile crane mkII And the LEGO Technic Challenge Winner Also on Brickset, there is a set 42003 "Action Race Car" might this be Technic Challenge winner's set number perhaps? I don't know when this set will be released.
  21. I am going to be different, I actually think the wider one is better and more realistic
