It's snowing in the UK So I would like to make a vehicle for use in the snow, but I have no idea what . Anyone have any suggestions/links/instructions for something to build? I don't have two of the same motors and not many track pieces so a tracked vehicle is not possible, however a snowmobile might, but I have no idea how to go about making one of them Thanks in advance, legomuppet9

Will you include the template for the dial in those instructions? -

This is looking good , as for the tracks, you can buy them on bricklink, or within a set (as I prefer to do as you get a load of other pieces along with it ) You may want to look at the 42006 excavator set (http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Excavator-42006, you can change the country in the top right as appropriate), or the 8043 excavator set (unfortunately discontinued, but it can be found here: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=8043-1) Both of these sets include linear actuators, which will make it easier to lift the main boom . Hope this helps

Looks great, although it has a very small steering angle . Maybe you could make it with four wheel steering if you have another Servo Motor?? Also, Remember to attach the Battery Box nice and low to improve the Center of Gravity.... Otherwise brilliant. I like the simplicity of you design! -
The mix of colours is to, indeed, make it easier for younger kids to build. A very annoying set with this issue is the Lego Creator 4958 Dinosaur, different length beams were different colours, it was very annoying! I wish Lego would stop doing it, it is sort of showing that children are having less and less common sense nowadays... ANYWAY, this set looks quite good, however I won't be getting it as I'm saving my money for the mobile crane later in the year...

Why don't you build the B Model and see if you want to buy a second set for having both models up... EDIT: I just found this video: -

whale2, the micromotor is the smallest available lego motor, and I'm sure the speed is ok for what it needs to be used for.... -
