  1. It's snowing in the UK So I would like to make a vehicle for use in the snow, but I have no idea what . Anyone have any suggestions/links/instructions for something to build? I don't have two of the same motors and not many track pieces so a tracked vehicle is not possible, however a snowmobile might, but I have no idea how to go about making one of them Thanks in advance, legomuppet9
  2. You meant it is nice? I also think its good to do this and I hope it raises loads of money too!
  3. Will you include the template for the dial in those instructions?
  4. This is awesome, are you going to make instructions?
  5. It is included in 8069, 9396, 9397 and 42006
  6. This is looking good , as for the tracks, you can buy them on bricklink, or within a set (as I prefer to do as you get a load of other pieces along with it ) You may want to look at the 42006 excavator set (http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Excavator-42006, you can change the country in the top right as appropriate), or the 8043 excavator set (unfortunately discontinued, but it can be found here: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=8043-1) Both of these sets include linear actuators, which will make it easier to lift the main boom . Hope this helps
  7. Looks great might use this in a trial truck myself one day...
  8. cheeze, why don't you upload your pictures to your own topic, So you don't hijack this one
  9. Looks great, although it has a very small steering angle . Maybe you could make it with four wheel steering if you have another Servo Motor?? Also, Remember to attach the Battery Box nice and low to improve the Center of Gravity.... Otherwise brilliant. I like the simplicity of you design!
  10. I am very interested, but make a new topic to showcase it...
  11. I will then, I want to try my hand at a pictorial review, I have quite a bit of time on my hands at the moment
  12. The mix of colours is to, indeed, make it easier for younger kids to build. A very annoying set with this issue is the Lego Creator 4958 Dinosaur, different length beams were different colours, it was very annoying! I wish Lego would stop doing it, it is sort of showing that children are having less and less common sense nowadays... ANYWAY, this set looks quite good, however I won't be getting it as I'm saving my money for the mobile crane later in the year...
  13. You beat me to it, I was going to review this, when I get it.... Good review, I (will) mainly get this set for the parts, although I will build both models beforehand to learn new building techniques!
  14. agreed... Cornwall is my favourite place of the UK though in my opinion... anyway, Blackbird I don't live anywhere near Birmingham....
  15. Why don't you build the B Model and see if you want to buy a second set for having both models up... EDIT: I just found this video:
  16. This has literally just happened to me, I have contacted customer service and they should be sending me a new part
  17. whale2, the micromotor is the smallest available lego motor, and I'm sure the speed is ok for what it needs to be used for....
  18. I like the police car, but i think that it'll be too much, so I'm going to vote for hrontos quadbike, I've loved it from the start
  19. That looks better, well done
  20. My favourite model is that grapple arm thing, that would be quite interesting to program...
