I did find this...http://letsmakerobots.com/robot/project/mindstorm-nxt-4-legs-walker

The NXT sends the signals out 1 cable. If no Arduino is in the middle, the PCA9685 will recieve the signals, but each servo will not know who does which sinal and all servos will act out each signal. I seen a few years ago someone made there own PCA9685 but they had put custom software on his NXT.(or it had an Arduino controler chip and his own NXT software).

I have a ton of the old ones and I think it's because of clutch power. Almost half of mine have lost thier clutch power.

GW Tiger tank 1/15 (RC)

Holy crap that is big and awesome!!! What is the final weight? -
You need the Arduino or RaspberryPi or similar to direct the orders given by the NXT. Other wise the servos act out the same order.

Go here: http://www.dexterind...torms-together/ this will tell how to set up the Arduino and it has "Arduino As Slave Receiver" which is what you need. Then go here (where you site is): https://learn.adafru...driver/overview this will show you how to hook up the Adafruit 16 Channel. Follow to the end of "Hooking it Up" in his totorial and you should be good to go. This is for NXT. For EV3: http://www.dexterindustries.com/howto/connecting-ev3-arduino/

9398, 42030 or 42009?
weavil replied to Fish777's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have the 42000 too and it give a far amount of parts. I think the 42030 is a great deal if don't have any PF parts, because its PF parts alone equal about $135. The 42009 has almost half pins, rods, and connectors yet only one motor. I also got the 42029 and I like as a set and parts value. My opinion is get the 42030 and 42029. Then you would have enough parts for some good MOC's. Plus you can use Bricklink to buy spare parts as you go. -

It works on AMD cards too. I have the individual program setting setup in the Catalyst Control Center for HD 5870 Eyefinity. But my desktop is 3 monitors wide so there is a performance slowdown with really big models and AA on. But its still great! -

I thought I seen one that dispensed liquor before? -
Just updated no problem and no crash (yet). Edit-1 Opening the "Doors and Window" pallette is the the problem. I click it and starts loading doors and windows from bottem to top, about 3/4 the way up.... I get Desktop view. Edit-2 It happens in "Extended mode" only. Edit-3 Just got it to do the 2Mb update. It looks like it was a problem between 3856 and 4183 in the pallette.

Seen it this morning and thought it was the coolest thing. -
If it is something simple I shoot for close. If it is something exactly like the reference than my OCD kicks in. And what I'm working on now its big and the OCD kicks in when I work on it. But as far strictness to scale it would go with a topic we had "form or function". And my OCD is trying to make me do both.
