  1. Amazon has all kinds of them. This one brand has just about every size and shape. Plus they have inserts for them too. I remember years ago you could buy them with inserts included.
  2. Well after some time I started over the car idea. After being buzy with other stuff, doing some research, and digging, I finaly came up with a better idea. It took a little research and development (so to speak), but I'm happy with the resaults. Pull the red pins. Pull the shock braces. Pull the 2 blue pins. And the rear end pops out. Got bigger pictures on my brickshelf. Will add a link to the folder when it is public. Edit: Here is the link to the rest... http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=546161
  3. So that's what I will look like in about 70 years! HA. Great read. AFOL - - Advanced Fan Of Lego
  4. It still is confusing. Went to eBay and searched "custom Lego" seen this right on the first page of results... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Custom-Vending-Machine-accessories
  5. Nice work. It would be better if it was possible to put another IR led so you could transmite 2 channels at once. IE.- For a loader, have the stick for monement and the buttons for the bucket.
  6. Had that problem before and sometimes still do. But with mine it's so small of an error that I dont see it half of the time, till 3/4 of the way when "why dosen't this pin FIT ". Then I have to rebuild from the start next to the first till I find the error and at that point I fix it, save it, and hope I never need to look at ever again.
  7. It depends on what you plan to do. You could gat the expansion set then use http://www.bricklink.com to buy other parts/pieces you need. Or buy some Technic sets and use Bricklink for other parts/pieces you might require. The 42009 has a large amount of pins in the set.
  8. This is now my top priority!!!! Has the Power Functions I want/need! Plus the other parts. The bucket and it being licensed might explain the price, but for me it would cheaper than BL. Just the PF included on LEGO S@H is $112.91. That's not including the parts I want/need to order from BL. So I will be getting it as soon as it hits the USA!
  9. Well after building the back end I thought about if it was too wide, but it's as wide as the front of the 42000. I was going for a wide stance. So I could make it a little long.
  10. After getting the 42000 a week ago, I'm back with a new venture. Project001. Trying to see what I can do with my new parts. Here is what I got so far. http://www.bricksafe.com/pages/weavil/2014 No plans for motors yet, but HOG will be fine for now. Its not much yet, just 2 days in.
  11. Yes, very new. It looks very useful. They have had useful/wanted parts in other sets before being in Technic before. Might see it in Technic sets this fall or 1st half 2015.
  12. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=399263 Here are pictures. Not mine, just the "expert" of LEGO motors. Could also be the thermal and/or current regulators. Or replace it for these...http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/62035
  13. Sounds like a bad resistor inside.
  14. In my opinion use Chrome instead of IE. I have Win 7 on two computers that have no problem doing anything, yet IE has problems with more and more websites. More and more websites are changing over to HTML 5, so IE version 9 or lower hang trying to load a page. A good example is Foxsports.com.
  15. That's why I somethimes I hook the computer to the TV. The decoration s do get bigger, depending on the size of the TV. Also with a normal monitor, if it is big enough, you can change the resolution and it will make every thing bigger, but the decoration s will be bigger, then change it back when you found the one you need.
  16. I'm in US and bought two 42021 last week to build A and B at the same time...... OK it was for the parts. But it is a nice little set. I also bought the 42020 because I thought it was cute!
  17. That pink one is used quit a bit in the Friends sets. My daughter has a lot of them.
  18. I always put stud down too. But to me it looked like a flower that way. In general bloom is up and out, so that's how it makes sense to me.
  19. It should be. I got some old ones from the 90's and some new ones from last year. They look and feel exactly the same. Haven't measured the angle yet though.
  20. Went to my Toys R Us and they had some of the new stuff. Even a few of the small Technic sets. The LEGO Technic site still says 8/4 for availability. So I bought some! And some mixels.
  21. Been watching it on Brickshelf. Also can't wait for it to be finished too. I check Brickshelf too much and see other great stuff.
  22. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and ZX-10R, Coachman RV, and BMW M5. That's all I got for now.
  23. I was thinking of that too. It was brought up in an old post before. Page 21 was done in a regular set and page 29 has the Technic.
