  1. Greetings Eurobricks Citizens! Long time no siege! I thought I would pop back in to share my latest big castle build: Storst Castle by Mark E., on Flickr You can find the whole album here.
  2. Thanks for the kind words and helpful suggestions everyone! I'll be incorporating as much as possible in the second update. I ended up not adding the chimney since there was no fireplace for it to serve a purpose. If you think it would definitely look better with a small chimney up there I'll definitely have to add one! I thought the minifigures that are included in the set deserved a little bit more attention! 3. Thanks guys! Please be sure to follow that link and support it! Thanks! Yeah, I think I saw that. And I've heard that exact suggestion from multiple sources! I'll be sure to edit some interesting rooms in there in the update!
  4. Hey guys, Long time no see! I thought I would pop back in and share my latest castle project! It's a re-imagining of the classic Black Falcon's Fortress from the 80s! And if you are like me and think it's time LEGO brought back some classic castle stuff please go give it some support on LEGO Ideas! 5. Theramore Castle by Mark E., on Flickr Long time absent from Eurobricks! Thankfully I have some new stuff to share with you guys! Built in just over six months and using more than 55,600 pieces, Theramore Castle is my largest creation so far in my LEGO building experience. It's definitely not my landscape-focused norm, but it was a fantastic and difficult challenge to complete it. This model is built as closely as possible to the actual Theramore Castle in the World of Warcraft Video Game. Sorry the pictures aren't the highest quality. This MOC was so large that it was very hard to photograph! Thanks for viewing and have a great day! 13. On a Narrow Spit of Sand... by Mark E., on Flickr Mark of Tortuga and his fearsome crew land on a tiny island in the Caribbean. Why you may ask? For there lies the treasure of Captain Greenbeard the Odorous. After some digging with their swords, for they forgot the shovels, the pirates unearthed the goodly hoard of gold! "The Treasure Is All Ours!" by Mark E., on Flickr Mark couldn't be happier at the luck he and his men were having. "Myarrharr! The Treasure is all ours! Now back to the nearest port to enjoy the loot of a lifetime!" Marooned. by Mark E., on Flickr Little did Mark realize the crew had other plans... Wow, it's been too long since I built pirates stuff. The new line of Brickwarriors pieces is what got me going again. I'll probably have to proceed with the story now that I've left Mark hanging.
  14. Hey everyone! Here are some of my recent Castle creations. They were built for the #YeOldMerryBattleground collaborative display from InnovaLUG that was at Brickfair Virginia last weekend. Wykeham Farmstead by Mark E., on Flickr Bedulf Tower by Mark E., on Flickr Marbury Village by Mark E., on Flickr There were 10 builders total, and lots more MOCs than just these. So check out the display post on InnovaLUG's website for more pictures and info! Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
  15. Oh wow! Just stumbled onto this! Better break my pirate figs out...
  16. Hey everybody! Just wanted to let you all know there is a contest in progress in the LEGO War group on Flickr! Check it out and join the fun! ~Mark
  17. A Royal Wedding Interrupted. by Mark E., on Flickr The band of merry, mischievous foresters royally interrupt the wedding of King Bart the Odiferous. He had wrongfully tried to force the young fair maiden, Jane, into matrimony. Jane was the sweetheart of Will o' the Black, the fearsome leader of the foresters, and before the ceremony could be performed, the foresters had engulfed the chapel in riotous green-hued chaos. Pews are overturned in the ruckus! Jane, the bride-to-be, is delighted and relieved. No wedding (even a wrecked one!) is complete unless someone is swinging from the chandeliers. Although the damage was great, the beautiful stained-glass windows were unharmed in the sacrilegious escapade. 18. Thanks guys! Sorry about that! I'm not too happy with how the pic turned out so I didn't put it as public on my stream. Larger pic added, hopefully all the details are visible now!
  19. Just so funny! Great Moc and story again Sal!
  20. Activity - Exploration. Location- Aeristus - C04. After an uneventful time on Myderis, Mark of Orion and his prototype vehicle were tasked with surveying the currently contested planet of Aeristus, just one sector from Torresta, the home planet of the MANTIS™ corp. After a few hours of testing ground speed on the open grasslands, Mark's radio emitted a distress call! Arriving at the scene, Mark discovered that his former crewmates were attacking a loathsome Kawashita stronghold and were in dire need of assistance! Mark fired up the Awesomnium-powered boosters and revved up the particle-disruptor rays on his Strider. "THIS ENDS NOW!" (Begin Commentary) Not happy with this build at all, I was extremely rushed for time - which also explains the very short story! But I wanted to get something in for MANTIS, so Enjoy!
  21. Haha! Good point! The designers assumed with such good grip that the vehicle would never fall on it's back. However, there are two test proven ways of righting itself, first the legs can all move from one side to the other in a rapid motion in order to rock itself back on it's feet, second, if the first technique fails, the cockpit opens with considerable power (In case of a embedded crash during flight mode), like a ladybug flipping itself over with it's wings, the strider can right itself quickly with the opening cockpit if necessary. It is recommended that you put on your helmet before performing both of these maneuvers...
  22. This is fabulous! Epic vehicle Bob!
  23. Looking great! No, wait this is mostly Kawashita colors.... Naw seriously! This is cool! Keep it up man!
