  1. Er... have you seen the size of the scorpion and the ant? ?
  2. Not just a different eye print. It’s a different mould. Only appears in the ‘fun at the beach set’.
  3. I love it. Authentic proportions have never been Lego’s strong suit!
  4. This is a fun series. Looks like a record for new moulds, with some great new parts & recolours in there too. Agree that the cop seems a bit out of place though.
  5. interesting to see these. The brick suits look a bit odd, but they both come with great new hairpieces, as does Balloon boy - just another example of how sometimes the component parts of a CMF make it desirable.
  6. The dog in one set looks like the husky. But in the other it looks different. May just be a recolour or a placeholder. Here’s hoping it’s a wolf! polar bear Does look like it has a tan muzzle (which would be consistent with other bear printing but not really accurate or needed on the polar bear) curious to see the orca and whatever that small unidentifiied things is in the ice!
  7. wasn't Padfoot in the movies more of a shaggy black shepherd type dog? If so they may just use a recolour of the existing 'standard' dog mould...
  8. I've seen no confirmation, but I can only assume that it's the case. in my (cough) experience of looking through some new boxes for specific figures, they seem to have 3 per box, and indeed one of each in each section. (anyone looking for Batman with the dolphin should start from the back of the box ;) )
  9. I think the ‘building’ is a tent
  10. agreed. Does make me think though that there are other uses planned for them, given the connectivity they have.
  11. Was just looking at the legs on the brick built rhino in the Black Panther sets - those leg pieces *must* be reused in the mammoth, surely? Assuming they are - they have rather more studs and connectivity than previous animal moulds have.
  12. Indeed And that eagle is a really nice surprise. Looks like another cracking year for new animal moulds already.
  13. Certainly looks to be smaller and more useful. Hard to tell from the blurry photo if any other animals in that set, I’d kind of assumed there’d be at least a dog, if not a rabbit, now that the mould is available. Beach set gave us dolphin, lobster, dog, parrot and a fish. Fingers crossed
  14. Any other animals than the (very welcome) eagle? ah - I’ve seen the pic now. Obviously hard to tell, other than the eagle holding a fish. Fingers crossed for a recoloured dog or rabbit at least.
  15. But if it did, surely an elephant body can be switched out for a plain coloured torso - head aside, elephants aren’t very featureful in a minifig style ...
  16. Hmmm... if / when we get a second CMF series, I'd like to see: 1. Sorcerer's apprentice Mickey 2. Scrooge McDuck 3. Merida 4. Pocahontas 5. Chip 6. Dale 7. Lilo 8. Moana 9. Winnie the Pooh 10. Tigger 11. Eeyore 12. Jasmine 13. Cruella De Vil 14. Jafar 15. Goofy 16. Rafiki 17. Mowgli 18. Mulan
  17. Yes I do. In my experience names and descriptions don't cut it when it comes to the figure in hand, and some parts or accessories can make all the difference.
  18. my 3 cents. We haven't seen the series yet, so I'm not let down or disappointed as I don't know what the figures are actually like.
  19. always UV-conscious x
  20. i mean, technically both of the other people packs ('fun at ...') were outdoor people
  21. Here's hoping, but they never went south before. Fingers crossed for more penguins. And maybe a seal. I'm guessing krill are too small...
  22. I've seen the subtheme referred to as both Arctic & Antarctica. Do we know which it is?
  23. do both Apache Chief and Zayna come with records for the Justice League party?
