It looks great I'm curious about the nose area and what seems to be a R2 unit... When I was searching for ways to maintain the tail of my SSD straight, I tested using nylon strings attached to the end of the tail and to the rear support feet. It wasn't effective enough, but maybe you could try that.

I must admit I didn't really paid attention to the "quality" of the MOCs, I was like watching a movie while the music reminded me the emotions I had while watching episodes 4-6... Thanks for this wonderful moment Nom Carver

[Software] LDD2PovRay

Thanks, I'll run some tests to see if I can get rid of those. -
[MOC] Yet another Super Star Destroyer Executor...
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The frame on the rear in the lxf file I sent you isn't strong enough. I modified it when brickbuilding and I think I found a good solution, but I'll wait to have the upper city built to see if it's strong enough. -
[Software] LDD2PovRay
Bob De Quatre replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
It's my first post here, so if I should have posted elsewhere let me know and I apologize. So I've done a render of an LDD file using LDD2PovRay, and the edges of some bricks are all messed up. Is there a way to avoid this? I used the default parameters of LDD2PovRay. Untitled11-scrap par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr -
[Sci-Friend] Olivia's new ship for the summer
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks Soccerkid6 That one is a "real" MOC, as I've spent 2 days working on it, using new techniques (at least new for me) and so on... The other two smaller MOCs I've only spent 1 or 21 hours on them and I was just having fun with some parts and colors I usually don't use -
Thanks all A new tag! Thanks Pandora That makes 2 new tag and a title in 4 days Edit: Did a new version with a modified back, it can carry 2 surf boards and 4 minifig accessories. I like it, but I also liked the smoothness of the previous one hovercar5 par BobDeQuatre, sur Flickr

Hum... Do you have proof that you are a Star Wars fan??

"It's summer! Stephanie is going to the beach in her hovercar. She takes her surf board and her tennis rackets."

Definitely a Sci-fi MOC, which is the best subforum... Anyway it's really nice, with lots of details. The cake design is really clever. But aren't you afraid of that huge fan would blow the frosting of the cakes?

Nice rover, maybe not enough ground clearance, but it's a detail. Is that a boiler I see? Steam powered exploration rover is a great idea

[Sci-Friend] Olivia's new ship for the summer
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks Esurient. I might be unconsciously inspired by Star Wars... Don't know why tough -
Thanks for the kind comments Thanks Pandora. I built it this night between 1AM and 2AM, so I didn't wrote a backstory, but I choose Mia as she is the animal-loving one and tried to get her colors, blue and green, but the green didn't worked well. I thought of the shuttle being capable of flying in space and air and also able to go underwater I spent some time on the interior, as the build is really simple with only 104 parts. It's really too bad that the friends minifig aren't available in LDD I made sure that the windscreen, the 6x6 dish and the 1x2 brick existed in the same transparent color. There are some parts don't come in the color I used them, but I wanted to be sure that the canopy parts were available if maybe someone wanted to build it in real bricks.

As you said it looks really "plain" compared to what you use to build

[MOC] AT-PE(All terrain personal enforcer)
Bob De Quatre replied to Artizan's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Excellent walker! The legs are really nice -
Really nice The back of the top cannon could use a 2x2 round brick or plate.

Thanks Soccerkid6. It's not really a manta ray shape, but I had a ray shape in mind when building... and as I love manta ray, I had to name it after. Btw it seems you stopped building sci-fi and got back to castel (with your amazing little brother) ?

"Mia loves animals, and to visit her little friends, she uses a Manta shuttle." So yes I can build small ships ... But only at 2AM when I can't sleep And here is the lxf file Edit: Added a cockpit closeup and edited the pics

Thanks all for the comments. I like the Friend line as it gives us some nice colors (yes I like violet and purple), but I found that the minifigs aren't available in LDD To be clear it's a "space" ship... I was tired of always using greys and black, so I built this using Friends theme, but while keeping every things I would have put in a "classic" sci-fi ship, hence the "water canons" The weapon pods rotate a 360° and I might use them in other builds as I like them so much -
Does every female has to to be half naked?? OOps sorry, forgot I'm a male... I shouldn't have spent the day building in the Friends line... Nice one M<0><0<DSWIM !!

Today Olivia finally got her new ship! It's so cute with many butterfly and two big flowers It even has two rotating water canons to play with her friend and refresh them durong this hot summer!

Very nice ship. The shapes are really cool.
