    Lego is also a chance for everyone to build what they want. If someone want to build something on it's own and create what we call a MOC, he can do it. But if someone want to built something by following instructions, I think it's nice to have a website that allow you do have access to great models. Using instructions is also a way to acquire skills, techniques and ideas... For me, if I ever get back to lego technics, I'll have to follow instructions for some time, because there are so many parts and techniques that didn't existed back in 1998 when I stopped "playing" with lego.

    That's a big pile of technic beams... I was wondering how you choose the ships you build? Did you first consider the feasibility inLego or do you just choose ships that you like?

    That's a really big ship... Too much black brick I think, but for an alien it's a good thing, many places to hide I like the design of the sleeping pods

    "Shoot'em with the pointy end" The Black needle is a long range starfighter, capable of destroying large ships with it's powerfull railgun and it's two heavy laser canons. It can reach high velocity thanks to it's four large engines.

    People have no shame... But does selling stolen instructions like that really works? I mean building a model like this one is a task for AFOL, and AFOL should know where to find the "real" instructions. I've started watching TCW last week, and I'm beginning to fall in love with the Venator... I'm considering switching from building the Executor to building this model... You can check Lobot's post to get some good advices. You can look at the spreadsheet I made for bricklinking my SSD, it could help you. Good luck for the project
