  1. I knew I should have posted it Thanks. I like the fins this way, and it's impossible to turn them backwards due to the pieces used for the engines
  2. Thanks guys. 3 days without a single comment, I was starting to feel depressed, like I lost my MOC-mojo...
  3. One sure thing is that they don't practice at firing
  4. Oh he looks really lost... All the participant did a great job, and it was to see the building process! I learned quite a few techniques I wish I could have participated too. the Zenith could have been a nice entry, but that will be for MOCtober
  5. Thanks. I like that color... but I understand people don't.
  6. Very nice! Maybe center the 1x3 slopes on the underside. And remove the flick-fire missiles
  7. Nice story. Nice little building. Nice weapon stand Being a snowtrooper may be hard sometimes...
  8. If you've already built something just keep it, and if the Empire win this round, you could post it as a free build... *cough*but that won't happen*cough* A few days I think.
  9. We have a lot in common!... Like weird fashion tastes
  10. Glad to help Forgot to mention I used a 2L technic axle and a 1x2 brick with cross hole.
  11. You may try that solution:
  12. Really nice vignette! But why aren't they looking at the monitor?
  13. I really like thoses sets. The theme is great and the builds are awesome. What do you plan to do whith these? Cuusoo? Sell or distribute instructions? One question: do you include transparent stands for all those floating rocks?
  14. Really nice mod Could you replace the gray technic brick that shows up when the door is open with a "classic" brick?
  15. Really nice MOC The shapes of both vehicle are nice. But the pilot can't see what's in front of him
  16. Really impressive !!
  17. Really nice rendition of the ship There are a lot of studs exposed... but you couldn't have done otherwise. The detaching cargo pods is a great detail!
  18. (See Sci-Friends version here)
  19. Continuing the Sci-Friends theme (See Star Wars version here)
  20. Thanks Draiknova. I didn't want to use too much pink or purple... maybe I used too less
  21. i really like how you "cutted" the ship. Great MOC
  22. Very nice MOC! I'm not into the "play feature" thing, but it's impressive how you included them.
  23. Thanks Lobot I'll see how the Zenith building goes. If I can't afford it, I think I'll go back to building the Executor. And if I manage to build the Zenith, and I want to start a new project, I think I'll go back to the Executor
  24. For me Lego is a hobby. I'd prefer to build with real bricks, but I only have old bricks, in old colors, and not with the modern shapes... So I build digitally. It's both a pleasure to design the model and to share it with the community, that's why I've always shared the lxf files. I'm not into selling instructions, because if I ever come to selling them, I'd like to have a model that is actually buildable, of quality, strong, etc... And that's something I can't verify with LDD, even though I tried to design models that can deal with gravity, friction and all the things the real bricks are exposed to. That why I often tell people who want an Executor to build Anio's one, because I know it's a very nice model with great instructions. It's my opinion, and I obviously don't blame people who sell instructions! The drawback is that I need money to buy bricks, and selling instructions could be a way to earn some money... But as I explained, I don't want to sell instruction for a model I don't have actually built! When I built the Executor, I've made lots of improvements, like how to attach the top hulls, add somee strength to the rear section to limit the bending etc... I don't want to sell instructions to people and let them discover afterward that the model is unbuildable or fall appart after a few hours. Since I can't but all the parts to build the Zenith, I'm dismantking the Executor... And I feel bad about it as it's like an unfinished work. But it's been a year that I've come back to Lego, and I find the SSD a bit plain and "easy", that's why I'll try to build the Zenith which I think is a more beautifull model to display IMG_20130924_234703 by BobDeQuatre, on Flickr And that's a boring wall of text
