  1. Awesomes ship. Like the others I dig the sails. I also like the ballistas on the sides; that'll give the men a nasty surprise when the ship attacks.
  2. I just sent them an email as well, expressing my interest in seeing them in the US. Maybe if enough of us write they'll at least sell them at the LEGO stores and S@H.
  3. Great review, thanks. I recently picked up this set and put it together, it was quite enjoyable. I'm an OT guy but the recent PT sets have really caught my eye.
  4. Thanks for the better pic of the underside, love the ambassador's shuttle. What's the piece count?
  5. Awww, why won't you build it? This is really an awesome ship. I keep looking through the photos to see all of the detail. Is that a hangar underneath? I see design elements from the Nebulon-B and the Correllian Corvette. And the curves are reminiscent of a Mon Cal ship. The red color is that of a consular ship.... but if this is a consular ship where is the ambasador!!! LOL Very well done, incredibly creative.
  6. The site is still up and running. The prices are amazing, $322 for a new 10188. I'm curious to hear if anyone else has dealt with this site.
  7. I really liked Blacktron when I was a kid. Nice work on the MOCs. Any plans for more, like a base? What about some Space Police?
  8. Maybe you can round out the bottom of the cockpit so the transparent piece is more centered on the "ball" section.
  9. Ahhh, gotcha. So are all of the blue pieces covers for hangars?
  10. Wow! That is amazing. The detail is terrific, I really dig how you did the curve of the bow. As for the comment about the green in the statue on the stern, I think that was a good color choice. It looks like the head and arms are made of copper, because it turns a greenish color when exposed to water.
  11. Nice price. Was it 100% complete, minifigures and all?
  12. Nice MOC, very creative. My suggestion would be to add a little more detail, like tool boxes, tools hanging around the walls, a work bench maybe. A garage is a busy place.
  13. Not cool. I guess I'll have to find a way to get those sets from my in-laws in Spain.
  14. That is a fantastic set, and one of my favorites. But the one I like the most in my collection is 10188 Death Star. It has so many great features, a lot of creativity used in building such a large set and including many iconic scenes. It was also a fun build; and it looks amazing displayed with my other sets.
  15. We got our catalog the other day and I hinted to my wife that the 10% would be well used for the Ewok Village, so we should take a drive to Schaumburg.
  16. Very cool ship. Have you thought about putting in a hanger bay?
  17. I see posts about new types of blasters for 2014, I guess I missed the pictures. Could someone post them, please?
  18. Don't forget ANH - A New Hope ESB - Empire Strikes Back RTOJ - Return of the Jedi
  19. That's a really cool MOC. Very creative way of making lots of junk; it's fun to try to identify what parts came from what ships. Nicely play with "I'm sorry Wilson!" I read that with Tom Hanks's voice in my head.
  20. Pretty awesome set. Nicely done.
  21. Well done, LEGO. I like these sets, they'll make great additions to my LEGO Christmas theme.
  22. wow, just wow! Fantastic job recreating the smelting chamber and the corridors. I dig all of the details, like the conveyor belt, the "fire," and all of the junk in the background. Also, nice work on detailing the walls and overhanging parts.
  23. Hahaha. I love the pole dancer and the pilot dude handing her a 100. A little darker would make it look seedier, and yeah replacing the red tiles with brown would help a lot. But a great MOC nonetheless.
  24. Agree with Brickdoctor, just a little more detail in the walls. But otherwise this is a fantastic MOC. You really capture the gentle flowing feel of Cloud City.
