    Very cool review, thanks for posting it. I am still going to pass on this set, however. I have the other Sail Barge and it is one of my favorite sets. While this one has some great minifigures I like the detail in the other one better.

    Thanks for the link, it really sheds light on the mini models. I was hoping for a system-scale ISD, but those minis look pretty cool. I also hope the death star gunners get real helmets. This is on my list. And the Kashyyyk battle pack looks pretty awesome. Going to get one of those, too. And the AT-PT, that's on the list, too.

    Excellent detail and use of SNOT for the floor. I like all of the machinery all over the place, especially the 'vaporator' looking device in the foreground. Also, clever positioning of the blaster in your guy's hand making it look like Vader is pulling it away from him.

    Agreed! The half-attached bricks give the MOC a very ancient feel. I dig the use of the vegetation, too. It adds to the feel of the ceremony taking place in ruins. I'm curious, where did you get the grey minifigures? Did TLG actually make some in that color? Very cool looking, though!

    Like a system scale one? Battle of Hoth 75014 has one; and it's almost the same as the previous few Hoth sets to include a snow speeder. I think TLG has done well giving us a lot of snow speeders.

    Trees are tough to build, but yours look really good. Nice irregular design, and lots of good use of different shades of brown and green.

    The Executor is my favorite ship from the SW universe. The set is very well done, not perfect, but it is still an awesome set to have on display. It was also a fun build. It is definitely not a cheap set, but if you have the $$ and want the set I'd say go for it.

    Yep, tax-free, free shipping, and $33 off retail of these sets. Score. Plus, the site said I should have the sets by tomorrow. Guess I'd better mow the lawn and do my homework tonight. EDIT: I am 37 years old, it sounds like I'm a teenager in this post. LOL

    Very cool MOC. Clever use of blue round plates for soapy water. Are those two stormtroopers using jetpacks? I'd like to see more closeups of the detailing greebles on the walls.

    My thoughts exactly. This wave looks pretty cool, but the sets you mention are the only ones I'll likely be buying. I'm looking forward to seeing the new Star Destroyer.

    I don't think that's a lame set, I really like it. The Sand Troopers are my favorite minifigures, and the escape pod is pretty cleverly done.

    WOW!!!! I didn't think you could improve on your previous MOCs, but they keep getting better and better. You've got all of those great scenes wrapped up into one. The explosions are brilliant, how the MF and the Shuttle are leaping out of the DSII followed by flames. Well done! I'm also digging the funeraly pyer for Anakin. The Ewok celebrations is also fantastic. My favorite is the Executor crashing into the hull of the DSII. Really incredible work.

    These sets seem interesting, but not terribly exciting. With the statement earlier in the thread from a Lego employee saying 'if you liked the Ewok Village you'll love what's coming in 2014' I was hoping for some cool new OT sets. I have a feeling that we'll definitely see decent OT sets in the later half of 2014. ISD as a planet set? I wonder what planet they'll have it with. Maybe something in the EU like Kuat? Maybe it'll be another big ISD like in 2006.

    I love the sand, great work using SNOT. I also really like the detail on the walls, especially on top.

    Great scene! I also really like the tank, it looks great attacking the Rebels.

    I like the MOC, very creative. However maybe the top of the walls seem unfinished to me. Maybe use some SNOT or other details to top it off.
