  1. Sweet, I really like this set. I dig the reindeer and sleigh... Santa and Mrs. Claus.... elves... and a cool looking shop. This will be a nice addition to the winter village.
  2. Agreed. And the pants are jodhpurs, tight lower leg so they tuck into the boots and flare out at the top. I don't see how TLG could make a printed version of these.
  3. The new AT-AT looks like it's head is too big in proportion to the body, and I'm also not a fan of the Snowie's backpack. However, it still looks like a pretty cool set, overall, so I'll be buying one. I was hoping the ISD would be bigger, especially at that price, but the minifigs look just outstanding so this will be another purchase for me. Come on TLG, release these in the US!
  4. Awesome, congratulations Markus. I really liked your carbon freeze chamber, so I'm happy to see it in the latest Visual Dictionary.
  5. Really cool MOC, KevFett. I like your interpertation of the windows, especially the one behind Palpatine. Also, nice use of your limited bricks; I see the rainbow on the back, but it's not visible in the interior of the throne room. Keep up the good work! (BTW, no need to apologize for your English )
  6. I'm jealous of the folks across the pond who are getting the summer wave already. Can't wait to see those sets in the US!
  7. Yikes, those are pricey. I wonder what the US prices will be.
  8. I had a feeling Revan would be more limited this year than the minifigures of years past. I got my Sandcrawler in yesterday and TLG forgot to put Darth Revan in the box! I called customer service and they sent one out right away. Whew. LOL
  9. Thanks for posting them side-by-side. The new one definitely looks much better, and more movie-accurate IMHO. The attention to details with the angles and the greebling on the top and sides is an improvement. I just checked S@H, and my Sandcrawler is on the FedEx truck on the way to my house.
  10. hahaha! Oops! I have to be careful what I show my wife, too. While she supports my LEGO collection she never misses a chance to tease me about it.
  11. Wow, that's quite a haul. Great price on the Defender It'll probably be about a month before I'm able to start building this set. I'm currently working on finishing my basement, which will include a room dedicated to LEGO. I think the folks in this forum will dig it. But I'll definitely post my thoughts on the SC when I'm finished.
  12. Picked up the Sandcrawler for May the 4th. Can't wait to build this thing!
  13. I'm so tempted to read the review, but I want to wait until after I build the SC.... I like to be surprised with set features.
  14. I'm absolutely speechless. WOW!!!

    Pentagon

Fantastic build; it really captures the essence of the Pentagon. I like the historic figures on the stairs. Can't wait to see it in Chicago!
  16. I've got 6209 and I really really like the set. The difference in the contours between the two is negligable, in my opinion, but the colors on 6209 are much more movie-accurate. The colors on 8097 make Slave I look brand new and shiny; 6209 is a gritty, used, battle-worn bounty hunter ship.
  17. Excellent work! Marvelous job getting all of the main scenes into one playset. Everyone who gave feedback mirrored my own thoughts, and I have nothing to add. Great work, though.
  18. I saw on S@H that the Sandcrawler isn't listed anymore. I wonder why TLG pulled it. I am quite excited for this year's May 4th. The SC, Revan, and 15% off SW sets... I hope my wife understands what a rare treat this is.
  19. Nice job recreating the angles of the head and the details of the legs with so few pieces.
  20. The first thing I think of when I see these pictures is that this could be a movie set. It is just so detailed and well thought out. Marvelous work!
  21. Score! I think that's even better. You got the set just like new but didn't have to pay the exhorbitant price of a new set.
  22. Haha. I was thinking the same thing. Also, shouldn't these threads be in the main Rumors thread at the top?
  23. Awesome! I bought this set when it came out years ago; and it's one of my favorite all-time sets. Did you get it MISB?
  24. Gotcha. I agree, with the lack of playability the SSD is better to look at up on a shelf.
