  1. it's cool! but there's a problem: how much torque can it take? when building a gearbox keep in mind that if you need a gearbox it's because your model is heavy, so you'll need 2 XL motors... if the gearbox can handle it without exploding than it's a good gearbox :P
  2. Thats a pretty cool thing :)
  3. it would work with an M motor as well if you add that part with the spring so it goes back to central position
  4. feel free to use it however you like :) As soon as ill release my new car ill make instructions for it, the gearbox ive made is a 3+R but it's the strongest and smoothest ive ever done. It stalls two xl motors without jumping a single tooth on the gears :)
  5. Hello everybody! I've seen you guys are going crazy with the new porche model :) Then you might find this thing useful... I'm working on my next big model with gearbox and all those fancy things and i've done a restyling to the shifter. This time it doesn't require a spring and it's one stud shorter...plus it's way tidier.... I don't think it requires any explaination, you should be able to replicate it easily
  6. lol im kinda happy i didn't get this set as far as i can see... the only thing that i like are all those orange panels *.*
  7. I totally agree with you. lines over panels
  8. wow that's awesome! im always impressed when i see something made with blue, i mean, there arent too many parts aviable, you've done some great paneling there :)
  9. nice video! on the next truck you make be sure to install one of these ....and a braking system as well :P it will let the car go downhill by inertia even if it has motors ...the only downside is that it won't have the reverse unless you add a gearbox after the clutch
  10. awesome models man :) really well done
  11. thanks guys.... unfortunately this project has been aborted to work on my next big car i can just say it has the best gearbox i've ever done so far... it's a 3+R but im pretty sure nothing i've ever done before was so smooth and so strong to stall 2 XL motors :P sooner or later i'll post the model that's gonna use it!
  12. that's beautiful man! awesome job as usual
  13. outstanding job madoca! it's really amazing, probably your best model ....for now :D
