Thoughts while building The Brick Bounty
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Fortune's topic in LEGO Pirates
You made a good point here. The 1990s sets gave me a short break in my "dark ages". Those were good times. Still I hope that the "model building" style will come back in one way or another. Or I will continue to build ships! -

Great crew - I like the Jolly Roger Android!

I had never heard about this, but it is interesting to learn. Great build, very convincing. (ok, this has boosted an old MOC, but it wasn't me )

MOC - Bridgestone Tyre Service Centre
Captain Braunsfeld replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
Great. I like this a lot. Looks so realistic. One thing only: As there are no stickers on the inside, there is a lot of "white wall" there (but I'll probably have to live with that ) -

A really difficult choice on this one. So many good contributions on all sides. -

[MOC] Medieval City House
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks. So, in the end, mixed opinions about the red roof. -
"Phantastic" creation, very unique. Has a magical touch to it. The boat looks simple but very effective. Can you share the LDD file or add another pic (I am building ships and boats). You wanted to link to your first MOC but I think that went wrong. You might want to edit your post.

Mountains and Men. (Moc)
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Mark of Falworth's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
You are putting your brightly coloured armies to very good use. The tan/dark tan hills work out fantastically well to build a contrast! "awesome", as they say in America. -
This is such a brilliant ship, it is great to see that it progresses. However, I fear by extrapolating your last posts, that we will not hear from you until end of June?? Brick on!
-
Charming, excellent design. BUT: This ship needs a second mast (more to the bow)! And then it will be perfect!
-
Recognisable. .... and creeeeepy
-
I was about to say "amazing". These MOCs are really good! Brick on!
-
Cool - has it got eyes as well?

Brethren of the Brick Seas?
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
... and we will all be just fractions of these factions... SCNR -
You have spotted Mitgardian colours, but this guy is not supposed to go there. So it would be Eslandola. He is happy because the boat he designed proves to be "ocean-going"

[Poll] Which one is the better bluecoat officer?
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Pirates
Bicornes are for high rank officers. I miss the ones with the white painting.
