[MOC] [Steampunk] Sir Archibald's Mechanical Elephant
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks a lot. Yes, there is a red couch included, and a grammophone. The type face? You mean the font? I was lucky to find a free steam-punky font on the net. Thanks - yepp -
Fine strange stuff ! Let's do more of that!

[ESL-FB3] This Ole House
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Amazing, this seems to be my first MOC which is getting more comments than views! I am currently keeping the BoBS-houses so that I will be able to put together a town. Most of my MOCs, however, are being disassembled after publication. Thanks. The way the fountains work is an Eslandolean secret -
Fine ship that you have there - seems like you are planning for a very fine fleet (and matching colours)

Fantastic build. Looks very realistic.

That is a very fine build indeed. Very clever and very inspiring!

[ESL-FB3] This Ole House
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
So many approvals, thanks a lot, gentlemen! Your sharp eyes find all the flaws in my builds. So, following the "affair of the missing rudder" we are now right in the middle of "the case of the leaning frames" (sounds like something for Sherlock...). I just checked the model and found that the frame was not well in place .... I've fixed it now, but of course the mistake will live forever on that picture... Thanks a lot! I agree Ah the paperwork... Thanks for the reminder Thanks for the approval - and I agree, the fountains are dangerous when placed on the roof -

Wow, 11 replies within a day ... and this is just a house... Thanks - I don't know how the fountains work. Maybe it is not a good idea to live in the first floor... Ok, I see, the background is something which I should not repeat. Thank you Titus - where is your approval? Lime green - yes, I wanted to have a dome but the only other available colour was white. I will need to add a shot showing the servants pumping water Thanks - ok Ok Thank you, Tomsche! Yes, everything is correct - except for that swear word! "Red frame leaning problem"? Hasn't occurred to me yet. You must be referring to picture #6 In any case, thanks for the approval. Thanks - the water bricks are actually fixed. Well, maybe the fountains are just there for the feast... let's see I am counting 6 approvals, if I am not mistaken - thanks a lot for that! -
[ESL-FB2] The Mine Is Mine
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Give it a chance! Thank you - we will see (maybe a silver mine will be acceptable too ) Thanks, Puvel! If it won't turn out to become a copper mine, will I have to do another mine to get some copper (by chance)?- 19 replies

This old house was home and comfort As we fought the storms of life... It is, in fact, one of the finer buildings of Pontelli - and currently there is a little festivity going on. Captain Enrico Sombrero Verde is paying a visit and so is Colonel Brickinson. The building is famous for its roof fountains: The building is well guarded by Eslandolean Elite Guards: As this is my third Free-Build thi smonth, I need to ask for your kind approval. C&C welcome!

Amazing, so many details - such great style - marvellous! And the FOOLOO cult is just one of the many fine additions! -
Fantastic build, masterfull in many ways. A tree with a nest in it! And more grass than usual - is that 200 pieces or 300? Looks great in the end!

Yes, it is an elephant. And, yes, steampunk demands this type of colour scheme -
[ESL-FB2] The Mine Is Mine
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks, yes I think it is the first mine of BoBS (do I get a tag?) Thanks. Mine work is hard work. But rest assured, the wheels of the ore car are well oiled. I'll probably have to do a MOC where the ore is being melted and turns into fine copper! Thanks. Please start your discussion about mining HERE! BTW: As you can see, the mine is well-guarded Well, from the way it is built, it is a copper mine (otherwise the green stuff wouldn't make sense). As to the rules of the game, we'll see. (And then we'll find out it is too early to have a mine, and I would have to have three ships first, and it will cost 300, etc.... ) To me, it is a MOC in the first place. Thanks, EWTC mate! Right, you got it!- 19 replies

[ESL-FB1] Little Shop of Fish
Captain Braunsfeld replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks - until then I did not know what to do with the prefab piece. I have forgotten where the hair is coming from. Well spotted, I have in mind that my houses should somehow fit together. The Junior's set was actually great. Yes, that roof technique looks good ... but needs a lot of bricks (well, not in this case). Thank you! Thanks. Oh, the administration. I thought it was enough to mention them in the freebuild post. But of course, they are doing the double-entry bookkeeping...- 11 replies
