  1. This is really nice, would love to have this sat on my desk
  2. Thought I would share a pic or 2 of my EN, now its up and running with a single Medium motor in the boiler and custom pick-ups in the tender. It is able to pull 3 carriages no issue ( although its slow ). Full shot of the engine and tender Close up of the power pickups and finally a shot form the top down with the top of the boiler and drivers cab removed.
  3. Novel use, well done, wonder how long the batteries will last in the remote
  4. Nice work, just a shame the Rcx is so large
  5. I only have the black one, from when I was a kid, loved it. Must rebuild and let my kids have a go
  6. Seems to work well, I don't have a ev3 so am guessing that the remote can be switched on and left on? Is that how it works
  7. I had no idea till I saw your comment, it must be massive in the skin
  8. It can defiantly be set to off, the full throw feels around 45 degrees
  9. This is nice, not normally my area but looks really nice, what's the total size
  10. Nice job, will back just not sure what pack to go for, I am 9v so no use for abs only track
  11. That's right, it will be fine
  12. Yes, the good old days of 9v cables are long gone. Not a big deal to splice the cables though. Good luck
  13. It is a shame when this happens, there are loads of cd's of public pdfs for sale as well, still copy written and people are selling them openly on the web
  14. I think the resistor is to make sure that the sensor port is tied low or high before closing the read switch, if this is not there the value being sensed may not be a zero or 1
  15. Nice work, very unusual but looks great
  16. Thats what i did in the end, just looks odd, wrong colour and no metal rails, but it is working for the time being, thanks for the idea.
  17. I agree with the comments here, this looks good, wish I could create models like that. The idea of the magnet is fantastic when running on tight corners
  18. A few changes, I have been working on this for a while, just which I had more time. Anyway, I have taken the advice and tried to get a reversing loop sported, I think was really needed, but I have an issue that I can't quite connect the track, I don't have an issue modifying tack as you can see in other areas but just wanted to check I am not missing something here
  19. If it's not it's an amazing coinsidance
  20. I am new to stickers, what has been done with stickers on this? it looks great what ever it is
  21. Looks good only issue is that you have to make all the connections right? You can't shunt with out touching the trains, is that right
  22. I for one would like to see the source code, the image analysis is relay neat
  23. Really nice tgv, did you use 2 sets or 3 in total
