  1. Chrome looks right on this sort of model, super charger sets the whole theme and looks very well
  2. Engine looks amazing, really nice in such a Small model
  3. You can clean the goo with a cloth, lint free is best. Then rub the contacts with a fine grit wet and dry paper. It's not easy but it will work. Jopiek has a good idea, you never know you may get a new unit.
  4. Yes, this is the exact setup lots of people use for gbc or other stationary models
  5. 6mm sounds a lot to me
  6. Photos are amazing, as is the model
  7. My memory on this is that there are 2 versions of the cable. One fleet quit plasticky and the other more rubbery. One of them had this issue when allowed to dry out. The only solution is to pick up a replacement from ebay or brick link. I guess it may be possiblmto dismantle the connectors and solder in a new wire but it won't be easy
  8. I have 4564 and 4512 but not PF Train, I can see what you mean about these
  9. Nice really nice
  10. Amazing so much in so small
  11. Me too, I gave up, but this was BT 2.0 not BLE i guess this standard is different, i think that with the older bluetooth the limit was around 7 devices on a good spec android, i wonder what it is with BLE, I think I read 16 somewhere
  12. Number 1 is my favourite, looks really fine and I had never seen the tarns clear lift arms befor
  13. Second one for me as well
  14. That's so cool, that combination of parts to get this working and keeping it all looking so slick is amazing. would love one of these sat of my desk. You could watch it for hours.
  15. Yep, stalling any DC motor will create issues. In PF there are several safety fuses that will cut in to protect the batteries and the motor but in the end it is adding extra stress to the brushes and commutator. That said M motors are cheap as chips so if you break on you can always replace it
  16. I cant quite tell, but I guess the push pins get pushed in by the robot as its building?
  17. Fantastic video, your woodworking is first class, I like seeing the Lego in the shop
  18. Version 3 of the layout, I have moved the points on the inner loop at the top left, this was to allow better control of the passing loop
  19. I have been wanting one of these for ages, even with moden parts the grey under carage is mega bucks, now I think this is the way forward.
  20. Frightening if you ask me how the copy cats are getting away with it
