The technic buffers look great. For my eye the curved ones are the way to go

Thanks all some really nice ideas, I think the hinge plates may be the way to go, even if they don't then open all that well.

Hi all, I am looking for ideas on how to build some brick built doors that can live in the middle of a carriage, not at the ends like they do in the HE and EN. I am working on a new grey version of 10020 and want some carriages to go with it.

MLCad New user issues with Grid
kieran replied to kieran's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Thanks all, I started with ldd and found it really hard to use. Mlcad seems really easy to me, but the grid was bothering me. I will try the settings subjected and see what happens. -

If you can get this to work it will be amazing, not sure you will get the clamping forces needed but home you can -
Hi all, I am trying to get into MLCad and have an issue with snapping to grid when using SNOT building. I am building a train but as soon as I try and attach the front i start to get thing not lining up, so i have to switch to the find grid and then its all OK, but allinging the next parts takes long than with the course grid. is this normal?
