    I used small motors I brought from Conrad. I can dig out the model if you like

    Just thinking, why not make the movements directed form the phone app, this way you only need to code the NXT to do comes with the phone using Bluetooth and act on the moves. then you don't need to keep doing long coding in the NXT just one generic program. of course you need to add the code now to the app, but it would keep all the bits in the right place. Could that work?

    If you are using 2l motors you really need a v2 receiver as well. Assuming you are going for both of them on the same of channel

    Very nice build and well coded to work this way, what commands and sent to the brick from the PC is it Bluetooth command by command or is a whole file passed over in some way

    Its a train, and its pulling some rolling stock so for that you are all there, I agree that a bit more detailing, if you have the bricks, will make it come to life.

    I know not to use normal tape as it dries and goes brittle plus the glue marks the ink
