  1. Great way to make the micro apple trees!
  2. Great micro carts in particular! I also like the mix of colors on the roof.
  3. Awesome castle, love how full of details it is - looks like a really fun MOC to play with! Great window design too.
  4. What a neat presentation, the light of the tunnel really stands out in contrast to the black. Great textures on the wall too.
  5. This is so huge! Really cool creation, I love the tilt on the walls and of course the sheer massiveness of it.
  6. I put together a time-lapse video of this build by the way, and also there's a build log now on my blog if anyone is interested! Thanks Khorne! The torso was a surprisingly versatile piece; I started with the flag idea, but wasn't sure how many other times I'd be able to use it in the scene. Thank you! Did you miss the chimney on the blue house? The ones on the dock? The arch over the door of the dark green house? Some of the others have been mentioned in these comments too. Thank you! Thanks! Thanks blackdeath! A monkey - oh wait, there's one of those too! Thanks Mesabi!
  7. My first thought when I saw this was ooh, that's a really neat roof! I quite like how those three colors and the mix of cheese and tiles works together. The cellar door is also a really nice detail!
  8. Let's see if I can even remember how to do this. Ye Olde Time Bakery Shoppe | Kai NRG | Kaliphlin A Right Knightly Adventure | Kai NRG | Kaliphlin
  9. What do you know, I built something medieval themed! Actually, what I did was take a house out of a Brethren of the Brick Seas scene and give it another wall and it's own vignette. This was a really fun house to build, got to put some new plant pieces to use! It actually started with minifigure torsos being used as a seed part in the tudor here. I have one yellowish baguette, not at all sure if it was originally that way or got yellowed with time. Makes for some nice variety anyhow. C&C welcome as always! Thanks for viewing! Hopefully it won't be another year before I finish the next GoH build...
  10. This is looking great so far! I love those firepits, and that rug!
  11. I always enjoy seeing techniques for building rain, this is a pretty good one, although rain isn't usually blue.
  12. Same! Thanks for going the extra mile and pointing out the links!
  13. CCC deadline has been extended to the 31st, so you got time!
  14. I had tremendously good intentions for two GoH builds in December... Sadly they went the route of most of my other 2020 plans.
  15. Thank you! Thanks Bodi! Thanks, it was really fun to find so many uses for the torso here! Yes, the yellow and green flowers are in upside-down torsos. Very hard to recognize from my photo angles! Yeah, I have mixed feelings on the flags myself. I think they looked fairly nice IRL but it's hard to get over how thick they are in the pictures. It was one of my starting points though, by the time I got finished I didn't think to see how it looked without them. Thanks Ayrlego! I wanted to do the second story of the tan house with more light yellow but I ran out. Thank you! Thanks Captain Dee!
  16. Nice work on the different vegetable patches, I also like how you included a duck pond. Great use of wedge plates on that roof too!
  17. Just realized I did not reply to any of your comments! Thank you all three, I really appreciate it and hope the next instalment makes up for the smallness of this one!
  18. Chapter IChapter IIChapter IIIChapter IVChapter V Chapter VI Chapter VII Chapter VIII Chapter IX Chapter X Chapter XI Chapter XII Chapter XIII Chapter XIV Chapter XV (you are here) Chapter XVI Captain Argentum naturally assumed that the terrible mistake he had made in capturing and sinking a bevy of pirates instead of a fleet of Corries would make him a walking joke in the streets of Salida Este. The cheers took him quite by surprise. In fact, they were rather disappointing, for he had high hopes Lady Cora would be there to taunt him, but there wasn’t much chance of finding her in an applauding crowd. All in all, it had been a most disappointing monthly raiding and commerce action. “But,” he said brightening, “all this just means there are more Corries out there to catch next time.” And so in March 620 Commodore Argentum set sail again, scouring the seas for the red flag. Well, this ran a little bigger than my usual Captain A vignette. I built it for the Iron Forge as well, so see how many armless minifigure torsos you can spot! There are 9 different uses, but one is really hard to see. My favorite use is part of this tudor house. I put way too many details into the alleyway side houses. It was hard to get good angles for seeing them! Here's the toughest torso use to spot; the flower pots on the roof of the medium flesh house. C&C welcome! I'm afraid my next instalment won't be nearly so big. And it'll be hard to close the series with something bigger, but we'll see!
  19. This is a really neat build, love the swamp, the brick-built wings (well worth another mention!) and by the way, that tooth-eye is perfect!
  20. I mentioned the teal macaroni tiles on Flickr, but I also really like the little bushes around the bottom. Really neat roof thing you've got going there too. Feels very Kaliphlinian!
  21. Lovely job on this map! Nice trio of vignettes too.
  22. I like your well design especially, but that's also a good use of those 2x2 bumpy car like grey pieces, whatever they're called.
  23. This is a lovely build, I really like the colors and the perfect photography! You did a great job getting the inside of the shop light enough to see. I also really like the sign! +1 for the UoP credits.
  24. Really cool layout here with the half-attached tower. The lighting on the first picture is great too! +1 for the UoP credits!
