  1. I actually think the gold looks better. Oh well. I'd like to see under the mask though!
  2. I had a problem as well... now I find myself glancing at my avatar to make sure I'm still here... Hope you can get your account back, it would be really sad if you couldn't!
  3. Plus a picture of the Croc Boat... though that's not really much news.
  4. Clothes of an avalonian? I just see a square with a red x. A suspicious canidate indeed, even my browser doesn't like him! (JK - though I really can't see anything and you probably know who I support... though Ecc's is really good. But I'd rather a wise old man than a assasin... ...well, it was the first thing that poped into my mind when I saw him on your photostream!)
  5. Not exactly, more like a powerful something that will blast the world apart... Some one took me seriously! (I have no idea what I'll do. But I think I should be able to come up with something... if I can have until January! Thanks! Short but sweet. Thanks! Thanks! I really have no idea how I'll be able to turn the story around (since I'm pretty sure the world won't end... ).
  6. Nice idea! Though I might have added a 1x1 round tile to it, it has a nice simplicity!
  7. Thought I had recognized it as a name, but I didn't think it was spelled the same way. I think the eagles, (not the raves so much) will get most of their stuff in the first wave and not much later. Of course I could be wrong, but maybe. Lions and Crocs seem like they will be going strong throughout, while wolves strike me as almost background charcters (or, since after all the good guys don't get help from the gorrillas - in sets at least - until summer, the bad guys should be happy - the wolfs have a set to themselves in this wave).
  8. Great job, though this is considerably bigger than the others, it still is pretty close to the same style! Nice details you have there, especially the bubblegum machiene! I like the use of the light brick as well!
  9. But after all, if you can just sit perched on top of your castle while all your minions bring you everything you want... (I guess the eagles are the good guys, but still!)
  10. It is interesting that Zane is the Ninja featured on the poster, and actually it seems to make a lot of sense; I had always thought that Zane's father joining the group had been a bit pointless, but if Zane will be the focus of another series (or, as just2good suggested, a series of Mini-movies, and that does sound quite likely), then having his father back would actually make a lot of sense! And thinking about it... this is more what I want than anything else... but what would it be like if LEGO gave us five or six mini-movies, one on each of the ninja and possibly a few other characters (like maybe one on Nya, one on Wu, one on Garmadon, etc.), and (this is the part I really want to happen) a $20-30 "pack" of each ninja (or character, though Nya could go with Jay easily enough), with a few of the spinners/character cards/versions that were either not produced (eg. Jay DX's character card, or the Kimono spinners), along with - as long as we're dreaming - their hairs and pajamas... unrealistic maybe, but I think it would be cool... Edit: Also, the fact that the last episode (or what we thought was the last episode) was called Rise of the Spinjitzu Master rather than... well, something else, suggests that there might be more to him (eg. Rise of the Great Devourer - Day of the Great Devourer).
  11. You've got to be kidding me! Dosen't look at all like a stone warrior to me! I would kind of doubt that there would be a story (or at least a TV show) without sets, as LEGO focuses on producing LEGOs, not stories. Of course, the show is not done directly by the LEGO company, but I don't really see why they would invest time in it without making the sets it will be promoting. On the other hand, I wonder if there is any possibility that Ninjago would be at all conected (via TV show) to Chima? Sounds unlikely I know, but my brain is doing its best to come up with reasons why this isn't really as good as it sounds!
  12. I can even read the "LEGO" on the bricks... so it seems fine to me! Nice build as well, just a question; is this minifigure scale? (I would hope so, otherwise it's huge!) Great use for the flower!
  13. So... are multiple entires allowed? Regardless, here would be my first one (Hope I didn't go overboard on the photo editing, I don't think I did! And just in case, there is an un-edited photo as well): Topic It's hard to draw a line between action and what I find is called Sci-fi - especially when you're MOCing the end of the world. So I hope I didn't go too far!
  14. I stood in the rocky cave, my hands grasping the ruby by my side. Slowly I relaxed, letting it down. The cave was breathtakingly splendid, I thought. Rock, everywhere, all around me. A faint reddish hue shimmered in the corners, reflecting the circle of lava before me, though the only other light came from the hole I had entered through. As I gazed, I realized that the light was becoming dimmer, and suddenly a stone rattled on the ground behind me. I froze, but it was only for a second. Then I whirled around, instinctively holing the diamond behind me with both hands. "You should have known better than to come here. You will never destroy it!" "I won't, will I? You are too late!" I sprang backwards; another inch and I would be able to drop the precious diamond - the ruby that contained the secrets for the destruction of the world - back into the pure lava it had come from. But he was too fast for me; with a sudden twist I was on my back - I made an effort to jump up, but he threw me back into the farthest recesses of the cave. I lay there; I could bear it no longer - covering my face in my hands, I waited for the inevitable. He moved slowly, almost as though daring me to try to stop him. The ruby was within his grasp; he had it now, and I watched, held there by a horrifying sort of fascination. With a sudden movement, he drew out the sword - the one thing, in all the world, that could capture the power of the ruby. The two were together, finally, and all time seemed to hold its breath for a few seconds. Then, with a loud noise, almost a groan, as though saddened for the power that was to be released, the ruby cemented itself in place, the red of its crystal reflecting in the eyes of my antagonist. He turned and held the sword up, we were both almost trembling in expectation - and then, with hardly a sound, the first drop fell. It was only a drop, and it seemed as though nothing had happened, but soon the cave floor had turned blood red. With horror I saw it spread to the walls, climbing ever upward, stopping for nothing and no one. Then the first beam of light shot out, and soon, in all directions, the cave was lit up as though the sun had broken into it at last, and was reaching even this desolate place with its rays. The light blinded me; I could not look, I could not even hear; at last all my powers of concentration left me, and I knew what happened no longer. And here is a photo of the build without the effects: Maybe I'll do a follow up MOC if the world doesn't end... but that's not a promise! Comments are welcome, I hope you enjoyed it!
  15. Good eye. Maybe there's more to this than just a weird poster... Edit: In fact, looking at that, I'm getting more excited as we speak...
  16. Yep, Zane. In fact, that seems to me just like after he got wacked by the devourer - compare.
  17. Interesting, but I'm not sure that's really refering to the sets, possibly just to the storyline, Messege Boards, or something else. The poster looks to me like Zane after he got whacked by the devourer. I can't say I'm sure that it would really be at all a good move on LEGO's part to keep doing the actual sets. I myself (and I'm one of the biggest Ninjago fans out there) can't say it would be all that great, after getting all ready for Ninjago's end, planning life with Chima, so to speak, and generally dropping Ninjago into the bucket of themes that I loved but are over. Reviving it now would just seem weird. So... IDK really about how much I believe this. LEGO set up the end very well, and really I think I was less saddened with this end than I was with the end of Rise of the Snakes as far as the TV series goes, it just seemed like such an ideal place to stop, that I really have no idea how LEGO would keep it going! They'd have to set up an entire new plot, and even if they let it rest one year I don't see really how Ninjago and Chima could co-exist and both be strong. In 2014, if Ninjago returned, all the Chima fans would probably be mad in their turn about Ninjago cutting Chima's run short (as that's probably what it would be seen as), especially since Ninjago is a theme that already had 2 and a half (arguably 3) years, whereas in that scenario Chima would only have had one.
  18. To me it sounds like bald. Which wouldn't be so wierd if it were a male eagle, but for a female...
  19. Great job, love the whale especially but all the camp details are neat. Interesting that you would choose that set to work around, I just did a re-do of it myself! Excellent fig posing and activity!
  20. Looked to me like Garmadon's head is the same as always. But a double head would be most welcome!
  21. Nice job, though where's the orange for the Power Miners? Great idea though, love the "hitchhiker" and the planet in the background looks great! Nice pyramid you've got there too!
  22. Looks great, quite realistic! The black line on the bottom is a nice touch!
  23. Fantastic build once again, especially all the little chambers, and the color choice for the houses (impressed that you have so much dark orange!). Very creative how you put the canals under the streets! Awesome job!
  24. Thanks, hotwheelspsp! Interesting view of the back of the Garmatron:
  25. Thanks! In fact, thanks for all your comments about mine! NM, love the way you edited the background, and the border as well!
