  1. You're right that the CMFs probably aren't really done with the themes in view, but as long as, for some of them, there will be related themes, might we not speculate on which ones those could be? Of course, chances are we'll be wrong, and even if the knights/forestpeople did in anyway forshadow this castle theme, I don't think LEGO would use the same emblems anyways. I agree, I wouldn't want a CMF to have their shield translated directly into another theme. If anyone wants to army build, there's plenty of opportunity with the CMF, no need for an entire theme to be based off it (the emblem). But I do think that the Knight in Shining armor's shield is sufficiently different from the other Castle (I think that was the theme that used crowns) ones to make it good enough.
  2. Yes, that is more or less how I understood it... No, it's just what he said it was... a plastic bottle with a picture of grapes on it!
  3. More birds! I need something other than parrots (and owls I guess, but they're nocturnal - and I don't have any) to populate my forests! Plus these have their wings open!
  4. @Rogueang - There was a Ninja in S1 long before ninjago, a Crazy Scientest in S4 before MF, an Elf in S3 before LoTR (though that might be streaching it...), a Pharoh in S2 + a Mummy in S3 before PQ (I think, right?) so while they might both be planned at the same time (as I think LEGO plans for Themes farther in advance than CMFs), you still can have some idea of what themes might possibly be coming from the CMFs... though it's very vague and a sort of hit or miss kind of thing.
  5. I don't think it matters too much - after all, you should be able to use almost any kind of piece in an MOC right? (Though it's probably better if it's historically themed... )
  6. Didn't he say that the price didn't increase?
  7. Thanks for the tag! It looks awesome!
  8. I went with the Battle Mech, although he is probably the most useless minifigure for me of the entire series, I really think he looks fantastic! Really like the Waiter too, though.
  9. Thanks! I'm really killing myself about the archway now... I was getting a bit rushed at that point - in fact, I had been considering doors at the begining. I'm not sure how I would even begin to make a frame around the window, but that's a good idea in case I ever try one again... (having said that I'll probably end up doing one soon! ), thanks!
  10. Cool, seems like I came in second twice... so close for S9 though!
  11. 11 by def - 1 point 6 by Plissken - 1 point 5 by BaraSH - 1 point
  12. Great job on these, I really like the first Kaliphlin and the Avalonian shepherd (that's what occured to me first!) monk and the rogue look awesome as well as the Mitgardians!
  13. Looking great so far, guess my previous reply was lost, anyway I really liked the daffodils!
  14. Ditto! (Couldn't have done five if I didn't enjoy it! )
  15. I agree, nothing really happened in that episode that made much of a difference in future episodes - I think LEGO should have made the ninja return to Ninjago on the back of the seaserpent -then, once there, they could easially get their dragon and start flying (and Lloyd could have crossed over in the mech). Oh well. Not so much that she did nothing, but more like everything she did seemed either like it could have easially been done by someone else (reading scrolls? Zane can do that!), or was really a drag to the team (like her going back for her research). And how come it always took her until the very last miniute to finally understand what the scroll meant?
  16. *sigh* Yeah, I'd really love character cards for the ninja at least, but I doubt LEGO will do that... although, if they did include them in the back of the instruction booklet like you suggest, then I'd want every last one of those six sets...
  17. Yeah, looks to me like an elevated bridge between two important houses (or between two parts of the same house). Love the arches, the gold and red go together very well!
  18. Great job! I love the entrance to the bigger section of the castle especially, and the vines are a great touch! Love the smoothness of the water as well! Nice use for that viking sheild and good work with the detailing! Great to hear that your wife is getting better too!
  19. i believe that is a different character. The one up above is really named Ewar, not Equila.
  20. What happened to hot air? If that were the case though, shouldn't he be black and Cole be brown?...
  21. Great job! (As usual though, I had to go to your Flickr... ) I especially like the slopes down to the waters edge! Like the expressions on the pair up on top of the blue house , nice interior as well!
  22. Yeah, now that you mention it maybe I should have put the arch higher up! I don't have any grey microfigs... though I could pop a few colored knights in there... Thanks! @Eric, Thank you!
  23. Great job, I like the first one especially, the pieces of the wrecked ship look really realistic! And the lighting on the last one is excellent!
  24. So have a lot of the (HD at least) episodes, apparently. Probably because of the DVD that will be released soon.
  25. Thanks! If anything that should go to me... one flag short (yes, there are three in the MOC, but that doesn't mean they're all mine...) one of those slopes I put on top short... for certain colors I found myself one cheese slope short (or so)... Anyway, that's a nice map, like the rough canvas style background! I would suggest you make the red letters a bit thicker though, as I am having some trouble reading them.
