  1. Thanks Titus! Thank you! Well, Eslandola does have fairly low taxes, so it's probably not quite as common as it could be. Thanks kabel! Thank you! Thanks! As he obviously hasn't been doing any rough work recently, yeah, it's probably ketchup! Thanks Garmadon!
  2. Welcome to Eslandola everyone! And good to see another MCTC member, Capt Wolf! You can't license anything in the Old World, but I think it would count as a legit building. I'll get back to you on that though.
  3. Definitely a great concept, nice work!
  4. Really like the bright colors you're using here, and those type of barrel roofs are just so cool. Looking forward to watching this expand!
  5. Typically, trading is not a favorite Oleander pastime (I sort of get the impression that most Oleanders would look down on traders, as being "new rich" sort of; also because they belong to the working class, not the leisure class), but there can certainly be exceptions!
  6. Nice build Garmadon, I especially like the house off to the left! The up-side-down roof is very clever!
  7. So far as I understand, and Ska can confirm, you get one free class 1 or class 2 vessel license. If that ship is destroyed and you don't have any other one, you get another free license. However, to take advantage of the license, you have to build the ship, of course. (That is, post a free-build with a ship in it, and submit the licensing form for that ship + for the free-build.) No license necessary for free-builds; the license would come later if you wanted to a) make property out of it, or b) buy a ship.
  8. You can certainly use a ship without licensing it! Don't bother to fill out the form in that case though. If you're not going to participate in the Economic system the only form you will need to use would be the free-build form.
  9. Smuggler's Cove | Kai NRG | Eslandola Thanks for doing my work for me, Garm. Cornfield | Kai NRG | Eslandola Small House in Weelond | Kai NRG | Eslandola The Golden Snake | Kai NRG | Eslandola
  10. Welcome Commander Red Hat and Titus! Hmm... what exactly do you mean by register? You can't earn profit from it in the EGS and you won't be granted a charter for it and you can't put it in New Eslandola. Theoretically you could make it a sort of for-story-purposes-only city, located on the mainland, but there's not much point to that. Personally, I'd keep GoH cities in GoH. It's not like you can post the same MOC twice on EB anyways.
  11. Thanks! It's probably the heftiest one but I've built on larger footprints before.
  12. After months of construction, Auner's chapel is finally done. The chapel has a fully functional interior: One last overview: And, finally, I'm done! This build took a good deal longer than anticipated, but I'm happy with the end result. Not quite the largest build in terms of footprint that I've ever done, but almost certainly the largest in sheer bulk. Thanks for looking! C&C welcome, hope you enjoyed it!
  13. Guy K. Wyndzon - After the death of his wealthy father, young Guy took over leadership of the Merchant’s Colonial Trading Company’s Board. Energetic and sometimes a little too reckless, he often has trouble getting the other merchants to agree with his expansionistic schemes and would have been deposed long ago but for the influence of his Uncle. Under Guy’s leadership, the Merchant’s Colonial Trading Company has stopped playing its losing game on the mainland with the ETWC and started planting dozens of new colonies in the New World. And a free-build from me!
  14. Eslandola's Northwest Coast is no place for law abiding citizens. Smuggling turns a pretty penny here, and doesn't seem to be too risky either. I'd say someone's been bribed! One last shot: C&C welcome! Thanks for looking and enjoy your time in BoBS!
  15. Sorry. It's just that that could be read two totally opposite ways. Really cracked me up.
  16. I'm glad to hear that. No, I took the picture on the blue background. I've become suddenly fond of using colored backgrounds; they seem to work really well! What should the f-aperture usually be? I don't really mess with that and am generally careful not to let the ISO get high. I rarely use a tri-pod because it never seems to help (certainly for small builds it seems pointless). I was thinking about a DSLR, something in the $500 USD range. Thank you!
  17. So unique and really fantastic looking! Great work on the head and the idea of a stone ship is outrageous but looks so good! Especially the back, but, well, the middle too and that wheel is excellent! The border is really good as well!
  18. Congratulations Ecc! That's a good excuse.
  19. Very nice build, great work with the Tudor style and the texture on the walls is really nice too! Looks like a pretty solid building! I really like this new pull-out room thing, might have to try it out myself sometime!
  20. Really cool underwater scene! The light blue background sets it off to a great advantage too. The purple plants really pop; great use of color!
  21. Really impressive how far this thing goes! Great work!
  22. Very nice build, great use of dark red! The details on the wall look really good too!
  23. Very nice build, looks pleasantly peaceful! Great work with the SNOT water too!
  24. Don't know how I forgot that... +1 for sure!
