That's not selfish! It's a reasonable consumer demand. Does Bluebrixx use authentic LEGO parts of do source parts from third-party manufacturers?

Which companies be this?

You should be able to copy and paste the raw URL straight from YouTube and then it automatically converts into a video it after you've pasted it here. Seems that didn't happen so I've fixed it. Also, I completely missed this entry when it was first posted but now Steve's Island Holiday has been incorporated into the Entries Index.

[ENTRY] [SMALL] Steve's Origins in the Desert
Mister Phes replied to Horation's topic in Pirate MOCs
Also, my another minor nitpick in the new render is the flag - it's facing towards the viewer so you can't really see what it is. That could be resolved by simply rotating the flag to our right. -

[ENTRY] [LARGE] Escape from the Imperial Trading Post

And that's also an excellent point - Steve does not need to 100% authentic to the original minifig. Anyway, I shall let ye get back to building in case you'd like to submit a small entry or two. -
[ENTRY] [LARGE] Escape from the Imperial Trading Post

Aye, you've woven all three sets into your backstory nicely! I probably should have mentioned 10320 Eldorado Fortress too. Is this your rendition of Steve? -
[ENTRY] [SMALL] Steve's Origins in the Desert
Mister Phes replied to Horation's topic in Pirate MOCs
This is much better presentation! Well done! Now we can clearly identify young Steve while the action is taking place. Rather than having to stitch multiple images together to get the full picture, like I did for the Entries Index. Before: -
[ENTRY] [LARGE] Escape from the Imperial Trading Post

Along with an awesome build that's a fantastic story that explains Steve's tumultuous transition from Imperial Trading Post to Skulls Eye Schooner. Escape from the Imperial Trading Post has been incorporated into the Entries Index. -
[MOC] Disney set 43223 (Bluecoat version)
Mister Phes replied to KolonialbeamterdeMartinez's topic in Pirate MOCs
There's a bug in the forum preventing deletion if images so I've taken care of that for you. -
This is so awesome the world gets to see you're superbly presented collection! Ever thought about renting it like an art piece?

Where might the correct picture be located? Is there a link to Bricksafe? -
You've managed to squeeze an entry into your busy schedule! And boldly incorporated a 4+ figure into your build - @PxChris will be so proud! End of the Pier has been incorporated into the Entries Index.

[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well, that's mighty kind of ye to offer! However, it's mainly producing promotional content (which requires professional graphic design and authoring skills) and then publishing it on various platforms (which requires administrator access). So it's is not something I can outsource without the appropriate onboarding. However, in terms of general operations, there is a lot you can do. -
[ENTRY] [SMALL] Steve's Origins in the Desert
Mister Phes replied to Horation's topic in Pirate MOCs
As for this entry... is it possible to get a render with better framing and Steve facing the front/audience? Also, the background seems to be influencing the colour temperature of the entire image - is it possible to colour balance the MOC so it doesn't have a blue hue and enhance the brightness and contrast so it stands out more from the background? -
Thank ye for submitting another superb entry! Steve's Boat has been incorporated into the Entries Index.

[ENTRY] [SMALL] Steve's Origins in the Desert
Mister Phes replied to Horation's topic in Pirate MOCs
Yes, indeed! Well done for boldly taking Steve away from more familiar maritime setting and placing him in an environment where one would not expect to see him. Perhaps this "sea of sand" is near the Barbary Coast, which we all know is infested with Corsairs! Steve's Origins in the Desert has been incorporated into the Entries Index. -
[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Exciting! Thank you for your suggestions! I've also got various initiatives I'd like to try... but what limits me most is the amount of time I have to action them. The problem with challenges and draws is AFOLs aren't familiar with how these work in conjunction with a building contest, so there's a struggle to communicate the requirements without bogging them down with rules and procedures. Whereas, they're very familiar with building a MOC and submitting it as an entry. The Classic-Pirates.com polls indicates participants would more valuable prizes And while the sample size is too small, thus far; unanimously it's more challenges throughout the contest. I was also aiming to setup polls for the Facebook Group last weekend but ran out time. -
[ENTRY] [LARGE] - Steve's Upgraded Cutter (The Untold Story)

You could let the fun continue... Think you'll be able to squeeze in a Small Entry? It could be something quick and simple, with 100 Pieces. -
[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Your enthusiasm is admirable! I said the 17th to assure @Math Wizard we wouldn't commence another round of Challenges without him. That's sound logic.. but also catch 22. We can't launch more Challenges until there are more Building Entry Topics. And, the budget won't stretch far enough to cover tiers for both Critics and Building Entrants. So currently, we need to be taking initiatives to encourage people to create the Entries in the first place, rather than encourage them to Reply to their Entry Topics. -

What fantastic presentation of the build, complete with a mini documentary - you've certainly put a lot of work into this! And it was well worth the wait! Steve's Upgraded Cutter (The Untold Story) has been incorporated into the Entries Index. -
[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Indeed, we aren't even at the halfway mark yet. Last year's contest had a comparable number of entries at the midpoint. It wasn't until the final 3 weeks that the entries came flooding in, after I started advertising the deadline with a countdown timer. It was certainly helpful! And I think the Small Building Category could benefit from a larger First Place Prize. It's just too bad it's not like that all the time. We probably won't have similar revenue until the Endurance ship is released. -
[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Entrants may already submit up to 3 Entries in each Building Category for a maximum of 6 Entries. So that allowance has already been granted from the beginning. Therefore the current Entrants are either unaware, or not interested in submitting further Entries. The LEGO Group provides us 5 Prizes distributed over a maximum budget of 570€. The additional Prizes are funded by the LEGO.com ads on Classic-Pirates.com. There was a quite profitable period during Ominous Isle's Crowd Funding phase and the budget for Prizes increased unexpectedly! -
[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Yes, there would be three different winners instead of just one. However, before we can have another Critic Challenge, we'll need another wave of Building Entries for Critics to Reply to. So I best get working on a strategy for that...
