The log of Captain Silas McShea: As we passed the south-eastern tip of Holders Rock, we saw a fleet of ships in the distance sailing south down the eastern coast, set on a course that would intercept our convoy. It wasn't long until we could make out the black Jolly Roger flags and their purpose was evident. We immediately changed course due south hoping the winds would favor us and we could outrun them and after several hours it was apparent that the pirate ships were falling behind. By dusk we no longer could see their ships on the horizon, so they must have given up the chase and turned back. EXTRA PICS:

The Empire of Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion
Mike S replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I'm pretty sure the points Ska was referring to are FIP points and do not influence the winner at all. I thought for sure I had read that the highest scored build would get first place, second highest scored build would get second, and so on. So even if you are the only one in your faction that builds, if your build is scored the highest, your faction will win the challenge.- 897 replies

[COR - intro] Billy Dodger's first assignment
Mike S replied to Pimbo's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I had to go look at your previous topics as I had thought you had joined either Oleon or the Sea Rats... but since I was mistaken... Welcome to Corrington! I really like your building style and presentation. As far as registering as an intro, just post your character Billy in Corrington thread and you will get the 25 DBs plus 10 DBs for posting this as a free build.- 16 replies

Challenge 1 ends February 15th, so we will have at least 1 new island to settle then. Tomsche is going to found a city there I believe. This month I will continue to build in Arlinsport, Tiberia. I have two new buildings to add to Amelia Street.- 897 replies

Thanks guys! This is also to help me stay organized for stuff related to BoBS. I will be adding Coyle properties and ships as well just for an easy reference. "Tooth's" head comes from Axle from Nexo Knights. Yeah, he gave up bare-knuckle when he realized that twin pistolas packs a bigger punch than his own two fists. But if the situation requires, he is not afraid to go hand to hand with anyone he meets....

Nice cabin! I've been contemplating doing one but I have not been thrilled with my own attempts so far. I never would have thought about placing square bricks between the round ones but it turned out nicely....

As there was some interest in certain of my characters, I have decided to make a who's who list of the main characters that have and will be appearing in my builds. Captain Aiden Coyle: He is the protagonist in my story and a recent immigrant to Corrington after being violently uprooted from his home nation of Oleon. After finding a few backers, he founded Coyle Shipping Company. He is the current captain of the Sulky Harlequin. Amelia Coyle: The wife of Captain Aiden Coyle Mathias Coyle: Son of Captain Aiden and Amelia Coyle. He is in training to become an agent of the Queen. Professor Miles Woodward: One of Captain Aiden Coyle's main backers and a member of the Royal Society of Navigation and Discovery. Captain Silas McShea: Captain of the Black Marlin who loves to tell tales of his "adventures". Ted "Tooth" Ganon: Captain Silas McShea's quartermaster. A brute of a fellow who earned his living by participating in bare-knuckle boxing matches before he came to work for Captain McShea. After many years of boxing, he had lost all but one of his front teeth and hence came to be known as "Tooth". More characters will be periodically added as the Coyle Shipping Company grows..... Real Estate: Amelia Street, Arlinsport, Tiberia Ships: Sulky Harlequin (photo coming) Black Marlin (photo coming)
