I think Maxim is correct about the speed rating which would disqualify it from the B run....

You will only state the colony that your tradeships will make a port call in. Some zones you may pass through and make no stops so you would not include a colony from those zones.

The Empire of Corrington: Sign-up and Discussion

This is the last day MRCA forms can be filled out for January, I believe, so if you are joining one of the following convoys, please post in my January MRCA Escorted Trade runs thread so that we make sure everyone gets added to the convoy (you will still have to fill out the MRCA form but this way you will know what other ships to add to your trade run): Route A - The Risky Route (speed 3 ships only) - Escorted by Pandora Black Marlin The Sphinx The Swift Packet The Knight of Stedor (1 more ship?) Route B - The less risky route (speed 3 ships only) - Escorted by Queen's Glory Sulky Harlequin Green Dragon Stubborn Stern (2 slots left?) Route C - Somewhat risky route (speed 2 ships only) escorted by the Mermaid - HMS Alice Flying Colt (3 slots left?) Also be sure to communicate with those joining the same convoy as you to form flotillas within the escort to make your fleet even stronger! Also if Eslandola is sending any escorts along, please post their names as well.- 897 replies

If it says that it is a mistake. Speed determines the number of ports that can be stopped at during a trade run. The only ships that cannot travel to unlimited zones are the speed 1 ships.

[ESL-FB] Take a bad ship ... and make it better

Well if you call this an ugly ship, I'm really looking forward to seeing your "good looking" ship... I actually find this ship quite charming!- 17 replies

I don't think that linked flotillas are allowed which means that there can only be 2 flotillas in an escort.... 1 with 3 ships and 1 with 2 ships. Lets discuss how we will arrange the flotillas and also the name of the escorts for the MRCA form.
-
You are correct. Because speed 3 ships can visit an extra port, it would be a waste for them to travel with speed 2 ships as the cargo modifier could be lowered by as much as 150 DBs by not being able to use the third port stop.
-
I can add another trade run for the speed 2 ships. There are quite a few speed 2 ships and I would encourage you to convoy together. However since both of my ships are speed 3, I'm trying to put together a convoy for them to travel with.

Seriously? 4 points? Whatever...

Since things are simple right now and all ports seem to be open (not sure about Sea Rats), I think merchants from all empires can join up for a trade run...

Yes, speed 3 vessels only...

Your finest build yet! Love the gold walls on the upper level! My only criticism is that the four corners look a bit out of place to me and I would have used light tan cones capped with a gold 1x1 round plate instead. +1 for the UoP claims as well.

[COR - Ch 1B] Land! There is land straight ahead!
Mike S replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks everyone! Thanks! I wondered about the stone too. Could be this island was once larger. Could be it came from a nearby island. Or perhaps we may never know. I expect a bit of a communication problem if we should meet any natives here. As far as the island, it is just a simple 16x16 classic pirate baseplate like from Sabre Island surrounded by blue baseplates. The rest is green plates and slopes to add some height and grass stems with the 1x1 flower plate in light green. Thanks! Hopefully you will soon as the challenge 1a build is finished. Just need to photograph it... Thanks! You are correct. -
Thank you all! Thanks! The Dragonfly is actually the seaplane. The other vehicle is just a utility boat for towing and transporting... Thanks! Well, Mister S is a lot closer to MANYIS than he realizes. It isn't cooincidence that MANTIS keeps showing up around him... but more will be revealed if I find the time to build more of his story. The arch is fairly stiff but the "dock" floor which spans the entire width of the hangar in the rear keeps it stable enough for moving around.

The log of Captain Aiden Coyle. January 26: The Sulky Harlequin is now officially licensed and we have embarked on her maiden voyage. Aboard are eight souls: Professor Miles Woodward from the Royal Society of Navigation and Discovery, John Quin the quartermaster and navigator, Theodore Walsingham a sailor and soldier and also a fine cook, Borden Appleby the ship's carpenter, Giles DeVitt another sailor with medical experience, Will Fletcher the former cabin boy whom I have promoted to boatswain, my wife Amelia, and myself. After restocking in New Terreli, we sailed east towards Berelli but our intelligence on its location was incorrect. However as I was going to turn the ship around and head back to New Terreli, Will called out exclaiming that there was land straight ahead. Upon taking a look with my spyglass, I found the lad was correct but I also discovered another disturbing fact. There seemed to be some sort of large architecture built on the land as well. I could not make out exactly what it was but I was certain it was not a natural formation. We will go ashore tomorrow to investigate this place. END OF ENTRY Not much of a build really but I wanted to show the land as it would first be seen from the ship as it was approached... And an unedited shot of the build:

Nice outrigger! I really like how you shaped it and the hull colors make it look like a mix of wood and bamboo...
