Nicely done! I like your take on this style... I can picture this right along the street facing the docks- Aiden Coyle will be sure to visit to hire some more ship hands when he is in town.

I'm really enjoying your digital builds! I approve -
Fixed something in your statement to make it clearer... I had thought that all the DBs from the licenses got circulated out of the game. Good to know that Corrington gets a portion of all the property fees I will be paying. Too many rules to keep up with.... but that is what makes it all the more fun!

Coyle Shipping Co. February MRCA Escorted Trade runs
Mike S replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
They will not be registered until escorts and flotillas are confirmed. Reason for this mainly is in case an extra escort ship becomes available, I want to be able to still add it to the convoy. However as the convoys are already named, you can register your MRCA whenever you want. -

[COR - February FB1] Woodworker's Shop
Mike S replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks! Perhaps it was a ballroom before Councellor James Mulliner purchased the building. The chandelier so far has not gotten any use as the woodworker works only in daylight hours. Since he does some intricate carving on commissioned pieces, the light that fills the room through the tall windows is important. Thanks! Thank you! Thanks! The woodworker has just set up shop. He hasn't had enough time to accumulate stuff for the attic yet. Thanks! Thanks! Who says a woodworker can't work in the nicer side of town? After all its better business to be near where the money is... Thank you! Thanks! Yes, I plan to keep these all built. You can view the whole street so far either here or on my flickr account. I don't really have any plans for a city but you would be welcome to build in Arlinsport where Amelia Street is located. Not sure if your Eslandolan mates would be happy though... Thanks! The woodworker has just set up shop. He hasn't had enough time to accumulate stuff for the attic yet. About the saw, I would like a two man saw for my sawmill.... I'll be waiting a while....Like that will ever be produced -

Coyle Shipping Co. February MRCA Escorted Trade runs
Mike S replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Ok, I went back and reread the rules. It seams there is not much difference between the speed 1 and 2 ships other than the speed roll when running from pirates. I hadn't realized it but even one or two speed 2 ships can only travel within a single zone. So I will list the Eliza under the Quick Wing convoy. -

Any way for Coyle Shipping Company to purchase one of the large forts if the company funds the renovation (builds the MOC)? I have a MOC in progress but I also would like to receive the monthly yield.- 897 replies

You are right about the zone thing. My mistake. However speed 1 can only visit one port, speed 2 can visit 2 ports, speed 3 can visit 3 ports, etc. so if it does join a speed 2 convoy it will limit the other ships to a single port. -
[COR - February FB2] Amelia Street Bakery
Mike S replied to Mike S's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks! The reason for the overhang is because it is the end of the roof. The building is not meant to be viewed by itself but I did it for licensing purposes. You can view the whole street so far either here or on my flickr account. Thanks you! -

Thanks guys! As far as the reason for all the soldiers, you have never heard of the pretzel thief? In this setting however it is the pie pirates... bakeries beware... upcoming MOC. -

Unfortunately speed 1 ships cannot travel to more than one zone. Perhaps you can join up with Tomsche as I think he has a couple speed 1 ships. Do you want the Jezebel to join the Merry Lyric convoy? -

I would suggest adding more flotillas. I will update the first post now. -
continued from front page (Woodworker's Shop) The second property I purchased on your behalf, is a bakery which I have named "Amelia Street Bakery". I am sure you will be pleased with this investment as well since after the long voyage to visit your holdings in Arlinsport, a slice of warm freshly baked pie will lift your spirits. I think this investment will also be a success and even after expenses a few extra doubloons will be added to your account each month. I wish you the best of luck on your voyages and hope to see you soon in Arlinsport. Sincerely yours, Councellor James Mulliner

Dear Master Coyle, Having received the receipts from the trade runs of your two ships, the Sulky Harlequin and the Black Marlin and seeing that you now have a substantial amount of doubloons at your disposal, I took it upon myself to buy some of the adjoining properties of the Coyle Shipping Company office in Arlinsport on your behalf. The first of which is a woodworker's shop, as seeing the lack of furnishings in the office and finding that the cost of importing furniture is so high, I deemed it a worthy investment. Besides now being able to furnish our properties, I am confident that the woodworker's shop will obtain enough business from all over Tiberia as well as nearby islands to not only cover the woodworker's salary but add a few extra doubloons to your account.
