  1. It would be possible that wese black ones because black is very common but we know for sure when we buy 2H sets... BTW it would very nice to make lime models with new red differential from 42070 set
  2. Erik , can you tell me wether image with light bluish gray dogbone is older or newer than video mentioned in this post Thaks
  3. First of all wellcome to Eurobricks forum. Looks big model with lots of bricks. Perhaps you can make smoother lines for example on rear mudguards but it is a very good start and proportions are correct.
  4. ...and there will be more with attachment that will follow in a future and because in the meantime I managed to stretch CLAAS tires few minimeters in diameter for one my future project so I can make some optimization on Unimog My goal from the begining was to make it as simple as possible - and as light as possible. Bigger models are heavier and have significant stearing problems.
  5. Well to make it as short as possible. Once upon a time I have worked for someone who was Opel distributer (not to say what my mechanic showed me dealing with Opel engines etc...) and this distributer droves VW Passat with 1.9TDI engine with Bosch disttibution pump And now back on topic. Your Astra will be reliable as any other brand model
  6. Perhaps "movable lights" could be something like this or it is just about those yellow lights at the back of cab?
  7. I hope it will end up awesome and not often brake like real Astra. I'll keep my fingers crossed (of course from time to time, otherwise no LEGO for me )
  8. FM-X Cab is better in LEGO (IMHO), nice found for kingpin
  9. Erik, last version (box) that I saw had red one - that can mean only one thing I'm out of date (need to update myself)
  10. Finally I've managed to upload images of latest version of my Unimog U423 with short wheelbase. Axles are the same, but I have some idea to make axles narrower for one stud, but need to make it and see if it is strong enough,,,Here are images on latest version you can see that other features remain the same like simple gearbox with two states one for driving front and rear pto and one as power supply for additional attachments you can see here e-motor "pretends" to be a fuel tank cab tilting remains on model ... I have plan for implement but as I said already reconstruction of front axle is next step...
  11. It was sister Clotilde usually driving and recycling 2CV. BTW I was always watching ORF ( Austrian tv). jugoslavian tv was komunistic propaganda and their legacy is even today toxic poison in every Country that raised after fall of jugoslavia - preventing notmal life and humanity in new Countries. Upgrade kit looks a bit like submarine For this model I prefer look from 1950s - first generation models...
  12. Yes, but it is nicelly spotted. Perhaps we should talk about parts in topic general parts discussion, because we have same thing spread over two topics and getting confused from time to time.
  13. It should be in 42070 together with red differential 4L (if something has not change in last few weeks in LEGO management)
  14. I see finished model in 1:20 scale, but as someone for who Technic is on first place I would like to see 1:10 model with better luck than Toyota in Le Mans this year 1:20 model is not detailed enough (for me, so don't take this as criticism this are just my thoughts)
  15. Erik, it is interesting approach using green for interrier, but don't you think that Tumbler tires are "to fat" for a supercar? Perhaps ones used in silver champion could be better suited for supercar; even classic like GT40?
  16. When speaking about this classic don't forget him https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_de_Funès (model looks nice and you chose correct tires )
  17. I could not agree more. We have nice variety of axle colors for proper contrast e.g when building yellow moc with black chassis it would be great to use yellow axels on black chassis, on other hand mocs of CLAAS prodacts look better in light bluish gray and red colored axles...so I do not see a reason to complain. We had some nice surprises this year like red dog bone or red pin 3L with pin hole and there will be more...
  18. You're wellcome, this cretions deserves respect even if people do not like trucks. As a kid I had two favorite trucks: U.S. trucks Kenworth and Peterbilt on one side and on another Unimog (my father worked in Gaggenau for several years - that is why I currently work on Unimog...). I'll probably look very often on this moc when time will be right to make my interpretation... LEGOish look as you nicely said can only be (partially) avoided with panels but it is not easy to chose real thing which will allowe us to be made as a model withouth holes in bodywork etc... That is why I respect models in this subforum (despite I'm "Technic person")
  19. Chassis is finished and in a few days I'll post them (needs stairs and rear mudguards). Delay in "evolution" is caused because in June here is a cherry time... BTW what is the most common additional equipment on Unimogs?
  20. Despite democracy and the fact that you've made nice build, It is a minimum respect when you name your model after some real life product (in your case car) that you make instantly recognizable model. That is mutual respect no matter you decide to make McLaren or Corvette.
  21. I think we would not have enough parts and when you compare silver champion set panels with todays, older ones are not that smooth, so we would not be able to make such clean lines for car. Nice suggestion anyway
  22. I've ended that hobby due to lack of money for cars that I really find interesting (like old timers)...so anything that spends more that 4 liters of oil per 100km is not for me (despite having 1967Mercedes...) But back on topic, otherwise admins would say to late
  23. @Didumos69, I know what you mean with eyes, I'll go for an eye surgery in several weeks (2 years ago I had retina ablation), so all I can say is to look after your eyes, no-one else except you will look after them. I admire your determination on small scale models When I see your latest steering solution I can say that some new parts can do wonders
