  1. Model is starting to look very good. For front bumper - I do not know if there is dark bluish gray liftarm 1 x 7 thin...
  2. ...and 10 universal joints and 11 dbg connectors with two axle hole...
  3. Matt, So far none is available ...since I use smartphone to write coments like this app 4 upload would be great but so far I feel like using "stupidphone"
  4. Well "see" you tomorrow , but it could turn out interesting project....
  5. Perhaps user @valenciaericmeans some relation to Arocs like 41999 to rock crawler
  6. I see some solutions inspired by arocs, but very nice effort and it is always good refreshment when you see unusual model. @Paknaloid battery could fit there but it had to be rotated to 90 degrees and then it would not be shaped like in truck image...but good thinking
  7. Ivan, so far we know that Mercedes is planing to make X class next year but it is a pickup truck (if we talk about licensed set of course); hm, we will have to wait for some more information...
  8. That would be interesting, BTW where will you find 1300 candles to blow them on your "aniversary" post cake?
  9. But don't dump this truck , perhaps you can make hood more smooth but generally it is very nice
  10. Usually double acutators are much stronger than one, so this is defrnetly improovement
  11. That is the best philosophy when building models (I always start from tires) Actualy (if I remember correctly) user @DLuders ( David Luders) once mentioned that LEGO unit is 7.9375mm so you are defenetly correct when speaking about rounded numbers Regards
  12. I have one suggestion - buy yourself rechargable batteries for this great creation. Really beautiful
  13. For small model - not bad at all, but I think your moc suits more scale models subforum...
  14. If someone needed as idea for front steering and driven axle for Arocs, here is my version of front axle for (future project) Arocs 2042 AS Agri...
  15. I think first one is the best
  16. Hi Matt, front axle is like this; but with additional liftarms at the bottom to make it more sturdy bottom view so far I did not manage to recreate rear axle, but within few days I'll made it Axles on Unimog have black parts as much as possible... enjoy
  17. @Hogwartus wellcome to Eurobricks. As Mercedes fan I can only say - G class is something very special (only Unimog is better offroader). About your model I agree completely with @Milan, but have one additional suggestion - Mercedes uses V6 engines and not flat 6 cylinder engines
  18. It looks very smooth . One thing that is usually happened - when you want things to look and feel simple you need to work very hard and take care of lot of details, and things that look complicated are actually non-finished sloppy things
  19. And you can add new telehandler (set 42061) to your collection and you have possibility to recreate crane from prototype images...Here in Croatia situation is not better, even worse in some aspect - lots of sets are missing some parts etc...
  20. For carriage that does not spin you can use this https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2711#T=C And new beam 1 x 5 thin with axlehole at the ends to make beam 1 x 5 with axleholes at both ends and in the center
  21. Hi Matt, Suspension is like on real Unimog implement carrier - solid axles suspended by shock absorbers and coil springs and located by 4 longitudional links. If you can not see it on previus posts, then I'll make another one - both front and rear axle (I don't want to dissassemble Unimog) and upload images Greetings down under
