    Nice idea with shock absorber and dump bed moves very smooth - not like e.g. crane on 8421 (which probably needs Viagra to be up ), so air games are on manual For days I'm trying to make something from one my model - to attach this , but I do not know how to transfer "energy" of pneumatic system into rotation at such small scale (I do not want to implement LPE inside...) Very nice idea, but it seems like you also have some other obligations, hope that horror events in Barcelona did not influent you

    81.6 tire looks better on this rim (it is more narrow) If someone in interested, for one my project I needed truck wheel 62,4 and tire with possible portal axle hub integration, but not 3rd parts, so I've ended with this solution (wheel 32004a with 62,4 tire) and if someone needs Powerpuller tire with 123-124mm overall diameter and 48mm width, here is a solution for non steered axle http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535390 (I did not upload images here because they are to big...) you can use this one (at least I've use it on one of my current projects - on Mercedes Arocs 2042 AS Agri)

    It could be great C model, you have almost 2000 parts and what is most important 4 Tires that worj also for forestry equipment and not only for agricultural equipment. I'll keep my fingers crossed (from time to time, otherwise I would do enything) ...and as I mentioned on other topic Unimog is under reconstruction

    @move5 and @IA creations it is just my thought, but isn't it wired that crankshaft and connecting rod are actually not connected? Why is it then called connecting rod?

    Just one question; is it kind of new trend to use smaller V-config engine? I personally would use V8 like in this year 42069 set. IMHO it is strange that engine is so small and gearbox could be uses as chassis part because of it's size

    I'll take a look at video on monday due to currently slow Internet access and rebuilding my Unimog to be first of a new breed (all my future models will be in scale 1:17,5). First I'll check your Brickshelf folder Just checked, but as you said video is what I should see asap

    First of all congratulation on your promotion to become Count. I think finished model is good. My models must have fake engines and drive so I'm not the one to judge realisticaly but I find your work nice. BTW I'll keep all my models after Unimog assembled

    That's normal. It is summer time in northern hemisphere so we have to enjoy as much as we can. Yesterday afternoon I was "brainstorming" about LEGO (since I have to take my eyes away from sun next 3 werks) and made Xerion tire with 111mm diameter that looks like original and can be used in future to fit my new scale for modeld 1:17,5; so I can make lots of trucks (european with common 315/80R22.5, U.S. trucks with common 11R24.5, tractors and similar with group 46 (1855 mm diameter tire), group 47 tire (1955 mm diameter tire, telehandlers... I have big plans for future; but first will be to rebuild Unimog - because it is the most challenging because of portal axles...) Regards

    For my your blue and white Peterbilt is best model with 62,4 tires (and @Dennis Bosman's kenworth k100 is the best 1:13,5 models). Thanks to @Bricksonwheels attached table with tire dimensions I've decided to make all of my models in scale 1:17,5, so fitst is Unimog on the line for modifications and after I finish with it I'll make new topics (but in Technic). Since most of my projects are dealing with machinery I needed Tractor tire with 111mm diameter, so yesterday afternoon I've found a solution for that using 42054 set tire. There is much more to come, but your model and specially @Dennis Bosman's Kenworth are inspiration for U.S. tow truck that will follow after I finish current running projects. Again most beautiful cabover with 62,4 tires that I saw so far

    Wheels are painted that way because when firetruck is at accident site it is very important that anyone can see that truck is standing still or rolling (which is not desired because of safety reasons).

    I agree but every start is a bumpy ride, so LEGO made a good job with 42061 set, and this set; 42068 has interesting steering solution

    That dilema is something that I had some years ago, proof that you have a point here is model that I've made in wired scale 1:16.875 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535335 Oh and Ingmar would now say "You are using dishes to act like rims? To me it looks like wheel caps!".

    ...and how could it bee with original British Racing Green color? If I remember correctly D-Type uses 6 X 16 wheels, so wheels that you chose are IMHO closest in proportions for this moc. This is one of really good remake of classis car and you resprcted creators work and did not make "pimped" classis. It is a plesant surprize that we have such model on our forum. Very good work

    @Bricksonwheels I was writting generally, I do not have right to say anything bad or criticism about your work and even if my work would be better I have right only to give some suggestion and what I wrotte was only a suggestion based on year when truck was produced. Sorry to missunderstand your point, but bikes are the best I saw so far. This problem of proper scale is often causing me problems so I've ended on 1:17,5 - 1:18 scale because I'm not concentrating on only one type of machinery. @andrepinto my model is Technic model and can bee seen here Introduction is not final version, but in few weeks I'll update introduction. There are other models that I've made but don't public them here.
