  1. Sadly I was never (and I'm not today) clairvoyant because I've made it (CLAAS Axion front axle) several years ago, but I have some Axion front Axle images from one my good friend who is engineer at CLAAS. Axle looks like this and has single shock absorber for shock absorber perhaps you can use this part ...just one additional thing to our moderators, @Jim and @Milan please send me a PM if axle image is to big to make it smaller tomorrow. thanks
  2. I know about your solution - this was the reason that I have abandoned development of such tractor (I did not want to have longitudinal differential on axle)...I do not know if you already know that, but on this topic you can find some ideas for axles... ...just one small suggestion - try not to use cv joints on steering wheels (if you do not have 4WS) due to very bad steering angle
  3. Fendt 1050 should be interesting, but keep in mind that Fend has independent front suspension like this It would be very nice if someone has info about proper tractor tires that have treads that exactly fit LEGO CLAAS tires and have 131.5 mm outer diameter... Both mentioned tractors are real monsters.
  4. Nice old school buggy, but If you allow me, my favorite is something like this...
  5. Hi Eurobrickers, after some time, I have some updates in this project. After long period I have managed to make short wheelbase chassis with central differential as you can see on following images. It is rather unconventional solution but it works just fine and engine is below cab as it should be. Here are just images of chassis and unfinished rear axle with indicator of 22 studs wheelbase (two yellow axle 11 studs...) comments are always welcome
  6. Finished model looks very good and small take off / landing area is very nice touch. You are developing into good mocer
  7. Not bad model at all. If you are interested I've made about 10 years ago Quadtrac STX (posted it in 2009), so you can see if some of "my" ideas on this moc are usefull to you http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=365319
  8. It sounds like there is leftist thinking ... I hear something like this every day so you made me lough, no offence. But you are right this bricklink shop that had this order had a whole month of work processing this order(s)
  9. Beautifull and now guys seriosly you have to stop building such masterpieces of modern sportscars because I'm starting to like them - and that is bad really bad really really bad...
  10. Pawel, from pictures here it looks like from old movies T-Rex (from 60s or 70s) and today we know that his body was in line with horizon...
  11. Important is that you managed to find solution which is acceptable compromise and you are satisfied with this. This could be easily LEGO official set which should enable LEGO fans to buy lot of pf elements in relatively small and affordable set (similar idea like this year's tracked racer set...)
  12. It is simple excavator, but I personally would like tread spockets than gears 40 tooth...
  13. I know I hope to see some day Thai Airlines plane from LEGO
  14. Indeed this is optimal ammount of red (like Canada Air)
  15. About those subjects - they are most hated here - legacy from time of yugoslavian dictatorship...and folowers of that system are raping education system with socalled curriculum reforms...they preach to have more computet science snd then they pull out sickle and hammer. So in addition to this do not use to much red - it is also a color of death
  16. Lucky for me that I didn't have time to watch
  17. I understsnd very good what you mean...that is why I buy parts because I can not (always) afford myself to buy sets so I can only get them out of my head
  18. hm... crippled octopus - not my favorite, perhaps it could be called quattropod?! I have only 8 CLAAS tires and think it is not enough (specially one day when LEGO makes smaller ones...)
  19. I new about it longer time ago (in 2003 I thought to make 8455 C model inspired by that excavator...) but first time I saw it live was in 2014 when there were some works in one botanic park... It is called all terrain excavator ...and it reminds me on octopus (Kraken in Norway). Of course if some of our good members from Norway are reading this topis please correct me if there is need for it.
  20. I have also problem with width... Concept of arm design is good. Lets see what will be final solution
  21. My friend, your model reminds me on this
  22. Well as a professor I can only suggest you that education is on the first place and fun will come. When you reach one respected level than even LEGO will be more affordable and with developing of mathematic, physic, chemistry and computer science skils you are developing your LEGO skils. Enjoy your school day.
  23. I have managed to develope some kind of suspension which you can see here Perhaps it could be usefull to you... Variable width is more difficult to achieve and only with sprayers that have gray colored chassis so you can use gear rack from this years orange telehandler...container yard set if I remembered correctly Sprayer was done with wrong colors so I've decided to took it a part and make with motocross bike tires (when I buy additional).
  24. ...but it is complicated on slower machines and in area where is bad signal (and piece so you can concentrate on LEGO)
