  1. About drinking; since I drive some 100+ miles every day I do not drink (only sometimes 0.5 of vodka at Christmas and new year's time) I do not have need or enjoyment while doing anything and the same is with LEGO. What I forgot to add it is very important for me that chassis is robust as possible so I prefer using frames 5 x 7 and 11 X 5 as much as possible.
  2. 1. Looks (and proportions based on chosen scale) 2. Functionality (and characteristical parts like axles, drivetrain...should look and perform as close to original as possible with LEGO parts...)
  3. I suppose "my" idea for portal axle is not useful... Thanks for info about tires it would be good with current CLAAS tire. But I still like double cab version... Reminds of this
  4. I agree completely the problem number one is when someone writes something that other member(s) don't like member who wrote unwanted messages is very often subject of (to much) criticisms, so there is never enough of politeness and tolerance in public discussion. The same is here I think we should try to see with @gate's eyes and it does not have to be that all members should like the same building styles and building philosophy but we have to respect other. Example is Jorge and me, we have different philosophy but we respect each other.
  5. Yes it looks like real one. Really Nice small size Humvee. Just one question - which scale is it, did you calculate or was this build just for fun
  6. This is how original set should be. Excellent
  7. It looks interesting, but i would Rather use new treads and sprocket wheels. I'll peek from time to time to see how your project develop
  8. I do not go outside to play with my LEGO, just to take photo of my Moc on some surface that is not dirt...parts are always in box and once a week I open every box so parts do not develop strange smell like it happened about 15 years ago. Usually I do not chew plastics; why usually because (or unfortunately food from supermarket is not natural and example - rise is made from plastic in some cases. LEGO I do not chow, I use different tools to took them apart like knife that is not sharp, but I do not use my teeth
  9. Indeed I almost forgot on Deere dozer despite my intention 3 years ago to build it
  10. You red my mind I also like this moc, but the only thing that I would make different is engine
  11. @Thirdwigg perhaps 'my' idea for portal axles (on my Unimog) could be useful to you which you can see here With 68.8 X 24 tires overall width is some 18 studs, but I do not know how wide is fisherman tire and I do not know which scale is your Mog; it looks to me that your Mog is 1:16.5 or something like that (if I divide biggest tractor tire on Unimog U5023 is 495/70r24 that has overall diameter 1313mm to get scale; scale is 1:16.5). Sorry for long Post. I agree Unimog is like addiction ?
  12. At the first sight I do not like yellow and red color combo on wheels, but functionality looks to work fine...I do not know about steering modes ?, but...
  13. Thanks...specially right door (mowing door) is impressive despite the fact that you influented me... currently I give myself headache with 5 functions through turntable which should be very compact...I'll email you current solution to see what I think
  14. Very nice looking Mog, but I can not see portal axes ? and this lines have torque tubes and not links. (Only Panhard rod)
  15. And it could be great if you could hide battery box
  16. I know that JCB teletruck has (to) small tires so it is not on my to do list
  17. That is like blasphemy But I was hoping that I have missed something...
  18. Little Humvees are nice. In this case black is more appealing to me, but I see that you have tan liftarms and panels so tan M.A.N. would be also nice
  19. One different question - is there any Technic part in which could driving ring extension fit inside like universal joint fits in portal axle hub? Thanks in advance
