  1. When I read something like "All hail to..." and term Monolith, perhaps B-model could be Stonehenge
  2. Sometimes I envy you because due to my obligations I haven't touch my "projects" for about month. I can only enjoy looking others mocs... I'm looking forward to see virgin drive of your truck. BTW interesting combination of studless and studfull parts.
  3. Due to longer chassis weight could be evenly distributed what is good. But I still like shorter chassis on my mocs; perhaps in your case it is not such big deal since your models are motorised
  4. My problem with detailed Cab is that they are to heavy at the front. I think there will be enough place with such wheelbase that you chose. One of reason that I switched to 1:15 scale is that I constantly lack one or two studs...
  5. That looks promising with this wheel cinfiguration
  6. I think 8l with stops are better, but you can always make it stiffer with black frames 5 X 7. If you need suspended axle you can use ball joints from Unimog to build torque tube
  7. Well, there should be something like freedom of choice
  8. It looks that someone knows something (more than he admits)
  9. Well I did not notice this, anyway I'll wait for news dealing with 2019 Technic (I have probably mentioned this dozen times )
  10. Thanks for answering instead of me. I do not have opportunity to be online so often and so long due to my obligations, so I welcome a y kind of support and new information. Or in some new group? Perhaps build able figures is the closest...
  11. I usually like sets with 1000-2000 parts because there is still good playability and decent functionality in sets this size...but I buy sets mostly for parts, so big is not bad at all
  12. Yes I remember that post. Unfortunately there was nothing special new in terms of new parts IMHO, but sets look relatively good. You probably got the picture from my previous posts that only thing that interests me are new tractor tires, but as I mentioned in other topic I doubt that we will have some other dimension than 107 X 44... Sorry for disappointment in other EB members... I'll wait until first images appear somehow in mid of December Regards
  13. Thanks for confirmation. I hope that you'll get your catalog as you plan, it is in some 2 and a half month time, so I hope around Christmas to see if there is something new that is worthy to be bought IMHO for my future mocs...
  14. I'm afraid it would end up very huge. I'm fan of small scale mocs, but since I have several tractors build I'have decided to make something that could be mid-scale; scale 1:15 and use modified LEGO tires if I need, but with current tractor tire I have my limitations; probably biggest diameter that I could achieve is some 113mm without deformation...so I'll be continue o work on JCB fastrac and some tractors that size with 4 equal tire sizes...but I'm looking forward to see your version of Xerion. About 10 years ago I have build Saddle Trac with Powerpuller tires, but it looked to wide with them...your's would probably have much better proportions
  15. and as time passes I doubt that we will become smaller ones... I saw images of axles for your Xerion and it looks to me that you use orange clutch (from Chiron) as locking differential
  16. You're welcome @suffocation. I hope for myself that I'll have time for LEGO for weekend or next week due to madness at my work At least I have some time to surf through forum. Looking forward to see new images
  17. I saw it and it looks nice (if I remember correctly I have even posted image of Axion 960 with tracks in your tread), but treads on 130mm tractor tire that you use are not the same, LEGO treads are more angled if you understand what I mean. Thank you for your honest intentions. It could be at the end that this tire introduced with Xerion will be the one and only tractor tire in LEGO production
  18. No, front is just fine and simple how it is on real cranes. Only designers for modern cars have this unnatural lines and forms... You have only ti much free space between wheels like @BrickbyBrickTechnic mentioned
  19. Well I can only take my hat of...I do not have such history, but reason I can send you via PM. Long time ago I have lived for a while in LA, but only for studying English language during summer 1991...
  20. And I assume surname Mendoza Vic is short of Victor (here in Croatia) but you seem to have Victorious family . BTW my father's uncle was Victor. About Unimog; I have two chassis: one long wheelbase in scale 1:18 (in case Lego 95mm tractor tires for one model that I would like to build if pf functions I would be able to squeeze inside) and another short wheelbase in scale 1:15. The latest one is much sturdier; both chassis and axles. 1:15 scale could enable me to build several systems tractors and telehandler and trucks and...you got the point. Currently I'm thinking how to make Unimog cab lighter and JCB Fastrac 4220 chassis more sturdier and to Incorporate 3 way steering g mode but different than CLAAS because JCB has all-around suspension. For first responder it looks like it is some 1:15 or 1:16 scale based on wheels, but I could be wrong... But I know you have fun driving your moc, at least I would
  21. Very nice small scale truck. Pitty that you do not have 49.5 tires in trailer
  22. My doesn't do that, he simply went to sleep when I build something (on one side of the room and Bella the Terrier on another side). I must admit that this crane is tempting me more and more.
