  1. I suppose Arocs gear rack is no use at all due to heavy MOC ...
  2. Proportions look good to me
  3. @Sjoemie himself train battery box is indeed very very usefull. If you do not have it, you can found one here https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=88000-1#T=S&O={"iconly":0} I had complications with my Fastrac due to battery box placement and then I got suggestion in forum to use smaller one, so I decided to use it from my Unimog and get another one (actually my wife suggested me that) Wheel weights are always nice touch (specially when you need to hide something) and sprocket wheels are best choice.
  4. Outriggers are a bit big, but crane is huge (as it should be). Somehow I have feeling that you will need new furniture to store it after build Did you consider outriggers like this? http://www.aquickpickcrane.com/wp-content/uploads/RTs-006.jpg
  5. Dark azure and white is great combo. As @Thirdwigg said try using gears instead of "belt"
  6. I agree that you can improve your moc as @M_longer pointed out, but your MOC is very good start. I hope that your next step it will be studless build all over and not just Construction with drive ...
  7. You are correct, but with old style pistons V12 engine was bigger than half of tractor. In my country at that time MF with 2 cylinder engine was space shuttle and when I saw this Trac on Austrian TV (ORF) I was shocked that something like this exist...and there was also MF 4800 articulated Trac which reminds me that we should stick to 1:12 MF 6716 tractor discussion and help @hpilto make his desired MOC or we will end up laughing whole evening...
  8. That was my dream when 8859 was introduced. Then I wanted to make articulated tractor with duals, to be more precisely this one:
  9. Thanks both. It will not be RC, but next step is to finish stairs and bodywork (and then cab)...but one at the time. @Sjoemie himself thanks for train BB suggestion
  10. Something like that, but leaks are 99% not images but just some additional info, but we will know what model is flagship (I know; there are to many buts in this message)
  11. But we will have usefull info; I know someone who will be at Nuremberg Toy Fair and provide me info about (eventual) new parts and main sets features...
  12. Exactly, you could not describe it better
  13. After few trials and errors I can say that (finally) I'm satisfied with chassis and features. My main goal was to use minimum parts, so for gearbox as example; there are used just 14 gears to implement 4 functions and additional 3 to connect gearbox to m-motor... Result (current state of project) can be seen below
  14. I suppose you have train BB; it is 8 studs long...
  15. I hope to attach axles today, but I wonder how you will make front part because the first tractor that I wanted to make was the same as you (but did not succeed) but (to many buts ) I have ended up making steifer and later a quadtrac...
  16. You are right about implements, perhaps you an use tumbler tires on tanker. Just one question; perhaps I have somewhere misread some comment, but is it possible to replace plates with studs on top of cab with tiles (studless plates)? Yesterday I had few hours of time and finally made compact enough chassis, so stairs etc are not in the way for tires when steering under compression (compressed suspension) and made solution with smallest amount of gears used As progress goes (influenced by snowing outside here) it would need some month ore more for me to finish (and at least 5 more projects are in the pipeline) Looking forward to see how front part will be made.
  17. Perhaps this video could help... I have posted image using mobile phone, but mobile web sites sometimes are not compatible with PC platform
  18. I remember, reaction after first day was
  19. Problem us that I have only older switches, like from 8455 set (it is a backhoe and best LEGO pneumatic set ever IMHO), so I'm not help at all here... Sorry
  20. When I red Challenger, I have thought it is this model But I see now that you mastered Challenge of curvy bodywork very well Happy New Chinese Year of Pig (4717)
  21. Exactly, if I'm not mistaken photos are not allowed this year (also)
