Technic 2019 Set Discussion
1gor replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Info yes, pictures (I'm afraid) no -
With 62.4 tires and range from 18-20 studs you can cover scales from 1:16 (approximately) for 20 studs wide chassis to 1:18 scale for 18 studs wide chassis; real truck has usually 2500mm wide chassis. So I think that @Technic BOOM should follow your advice and "improve" a bit his moc, but other things are good (not perfect but good)

If I remember correctly, Tempest had characteristical chin for radiator to cool down H-24 engine (yes it has 24 cylinder engine).... Looks interesting project -
[MOC] Skoda 120/Estelle
1gor replied to PsychoWard666's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes you are right, in ex Yugoslavia (thanks God is history) topical cars were Fiat 600 build under license. That car was really something special when it comes to oil change; you have to roll the car over tractor tire to fill up oil and that kind of Skoda as @PsychoWard666 made was luxury car in comparison to what we had (if you were rich). Trust me there were even bigger jokes than Skoda (Yugo, Trabant, Wartburg, Moskwitch...) -
[MOC] Skoda 120/Estelle

And it goes and goes...when my wife suggested me to buy it instead of VW Golf, I thought she had something missing in her head, but now it has over 405000km and needs less that 0.1L oil per 1000km; that time if engines in Fabia with this kind of maintenance like I do usually drive more than 1.000.000km per engine ...as you can read here http://www.skoda-auto.com/news/news-detail/fabia-1250 So the longer I drive it, more satisfied I'm with this car -
Systems tractors and other machinery
1gor replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi Steph, My goal was to make simple construction for sturdy playable tractor but due to use (only) smartphone, I can hardly promise any kind of instructions. The only thing that I could make is to make additional samples of main construction and gearbox features... Currently still working in gearbox, but managed to integrate central differential (because I have lot of older 4L differentials I have to integrate them somewhere, hm perhaps I can put 4 of them in harvester ?)- 625 replies

42054 C Model - Boom Handler
1gor replied to Aventador2004's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Since one my future project is telehandler based on 94.3 x 38 Unimog tires (scale 1:15 like Unimog and Fastrac) I'll be very happy to see your version. -

I suppose that you mean 42082 (Rough Terrain Crane). 42083 is Bugatti Chiron if I'm not nuts. -

I agree with @MajklSpajkl, but I prefer my Fabia Diesel -
Generic machinery
1gor replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That is why I'm trying to replicate machinery which is proven on market and to make as simple as possible solutions on it... Honestly the only digging machine that I plan to make (one day) is 4CX (JCB); at least it would have the same color as your moc -
Glad that I could help....in the meantime I have also framework I'll publish photos as soon as I achieve acceptable compromise.

Generic machinery
1gor replied to jorgeopesi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I will sound not so original as I'm used to be, but at the first sight it is something like hybrid between 8043 and 42030 set, so perhaps you can use their solutions and combine them on some testing platform and then to see for optimal size; it is a but different approach, but perhaps you could try it -
[REVIEW] 42091 - Police Pursuit
1gor replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
And general problem I that it is spreading in all spheres of human activity like pest. The set itself could be usefull as parts donor when I need handful of parts for my mocs, but post expenses for BrickLink order are (together with order) higher than price of the set. now I'm starting to believe in Juno Moneta -

And that is the greatest richness of all, you should be very proud. I know who is "guilty" for that Regards -

First of all review is decent, if not excellent based on set as object of review. Positive thing that I can say is dark azure color and as time passes by I really like this color. Images are great as usual, despite not such good set, but as you mentioned the only God here is actually Goddess Juno Moneta. -

Look at the bright side: problem would be if your grandson wanted Porsche in pink, so with granddaughter it is normal -
If I can see correctly, you put LAs below axle? To reinforce cab with frame is a good idea; hm it is familiar somehow ?

Technic 2019 Set Discussion
1gor replied to dimaks13's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
What I have noticed that fully RC flagship was in 2007, then in period 2010, 2012 and 2014; and then in 2017, so it is not 100℅ to base expectations on some pattern...but I have noticed some patterns mentioned in EB forum about sets with hooks etc...but 2019 awaits with summer surprises. -
