  1. Great idea and really well executed. The traffic barriers and the heavy-duty grille/mesh at ground level are a realistic detail that - I think - many would have not have thought to include Thank you for sharing it with us!
  2. That charred facade is very effectively done. Looks good.
  3. This is fantastic and with the cow on the roof it's better than the udder ones!
  4. Monsters have got to be fed.... continuously! I think we've all got a similar problem with Lego sprawl although your problem does seem especially acute.... Thanks for sharing it with us!
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl6RJyZdBSU Getting stoked for the new album
  6. I agree! Well done LT and I'm sure the crowds loved your hard work.
  7. Super job and congratulations on being front paged.
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks karlvador! That looks like you've captured the Palace Cinema just right. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  9. Thanks LegoCityMann for organizing this competition, congratulations to the winners and all the entrants. It was an exciting thread and the standard of MOCs was incredible.
  10. From the sprawling vegetation to the approach you've used for the roof and the carriage there's a lot to enjoy in this MOC. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  11. That is a fantastic collection. It's amazing to see the various designs and products that Lego has offered over the years. Thank you for sharing it with us!
  12. Another brilliant creation Snaillad and there's so much to enjoy in this MOC. I particularly like the Bar area, the big vertical sign and the color palate you've chosen. It just looks perfect! Thank you for sharing this with us.
  13. Great standard of entries 4. AussieBJ - 1 6. ER0L - 1 7. Zed_43 - 1 11. greg3 - 2 ...and that concludes the voting from Missouri
  14. You're going to be paying somewhere in that range for 2000 pieces. However, one of the great things about Bricklink and modding a MOC is that it gives you an opportunity to hunt for bargains and devise cheaper ways of substituting expensive pieces for less expensive pieces. Good choice!
  15. There's another option for you to consider. It's possible to find and purchase plans for Modulars on the interweb and then build them yourself (either from your own supply of Bricks, or from orders from Bricklink). Here's two links: http://www.brickcitydepot.com/city-building-instructions.html and http://www.brickbuilderspro.com/shop-instructions/ These two are legitimate, but there are, unfortunately, a number of other less honest sellers who are reselling other peoples designs (there's a thread in this forum with details). I've downloaded and built Modulars from both of these sites and the instructions are easy to follow and come complete with a parts lists that can be uploaded to Bricklink. It's more work than simply buying a Lego kit, but far more rewarding. Good luck!
  16. It sure looks authentic, except for one detail - this is the only I've seen with safety railings around! Typically they're a bit more loose with the OSHA/Health & Safety Regs. Good luck in the competition and thanks for sharing it with us!
  17. You've done a super job on the Rocket. The proportions look right and it's obvious that some careful thought has gone into the design. Well done and thanks for sharing it with us.
  18. That's a massive structure you've built and it looks like the real thing. Did anyone get any pictures of the crash & collapse? Seriously though congratulations on finishing and displaying an epic build. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  19. Wow, there's a lot to enjoy in your entry Zed_43, I like all the fettling you've done with things like the pump handles, the air tanks, & the car wash. The Signage is excellant and the attention to detail in the interior is superb! Thanks for sharing it with us! This competition is bringing the best from everybody!
  20. I like what you've done. That back end is very life-like and the front works well The color scheme is perfect for a late-80's RV - even down to the speedy brown swoosh. I just don't think I'd like to be inside as it goes over some of those rocks!
  21. When I saw your name I knew there was going to be an impressive vehicle (and you didn't disappoint), but the Shell Station is also really well done. As others have mentioned the SNOT work is good - I particularly like the island area. Maybe if I was to have one suggestion it would be try curved pieces for the top of the frontage rather than the small cheese wedges. That might be more in keeping with an Art Deco themed Station, but excellant MOC. Good luck in the competition and thanks for sharing it with us.
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks! It looks really good and it works well with the other modulars. I particularly like the iron gates - it reminds me of a coachman's entrance. Do you have any other images of it? Thanks for sharing it with us!
  23. Incredible! It just looks so right. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  24. There's some really effective stuff going on with this MOC. And I think that one of the best offices I've seen - I love the drinks/decanters. Every office should have some!
