  1. Well, It's been a while, and no sign of update, When it will come I hope it won't be dissapointing......
  2. Well the obvious choice would be Fantasy Era Castle Dwarves helmets, Gimli's helmet, and I think the classic "Norman" knight helmet with noseplate and aventail would fit over Dwarf's beard. The same applies to the classic chrome gold crown, Also try combining Gandalf's beard, and Thorin Oakenshield's hairpiece, It looks really nice. Vitruvius's hair and beard also are a nice choice for Dwarf minifig. The viking Helmet with attachable horns is also a good choice, if you don't mind your minifig being a little bald at the back, when combined with Dwarf's Beard. And, of course, Dwarves from Hobbit sets will provide you with some awesome hair/beard combos.
  3. Really Impressive build, But Unikitty looks a little bit derpy, with Mixel eyes and rectangular mouth she looks kinda weird and uncanny....
  4. A really nice car, but I would add 1x4 plates on the sides under chassis, so it would cover that gaping hole, through which you can see driver's legs....
  5. And What if The lumberjack IS a werewolf? *Dun Dun DUN!!!*
  6. Heh, Gotta love Martian Manhunter, Superman and Batman as Three Wise Men......
  7. Extreme? Hardcore? I don't understand, to me, Lego is all about fantasy and imagination going wild, I can understand that Steampunk aesthethics don't work for you, but it's a very interesting concept, and Lego is perhaps the best toy franchise to employ such a theme, that is about creativity, adventure and inventing, TLG have covered many sci-fi and fantasy genres in their themes, so a Western theme with slight steampunk overtones wouldn't hurt.... It doesn't need to be exactly like Sea cow (which was a little grotesque and rather goofy looking, I give you that), and more realistic, but still, I think steampunk would make a really good Lego theme. The Lone Ranger's train set would be a perfect example, It looks like a regular western train, but with a big huge gatling gun. Is it steampunkish? Yes, it is, and yet quite realistic. And this would be the answer. Besides, If you want a ghost town filled with undead cowboys, than why not having them fight wind-up automatons, hot air balloons, early machine guns and/or iron-clad steamships (which were totally a real thing at the time)?
  8. If we're going into fantasy "Ghost Town" type of subtheme, I'd also would love some Cattlepunk/Steampunk stuff, a'la "Wild Wild West", or even "Back to the Future III". TLG really needs to make a fully blown Steampunk theme, after the success of Metalbeard's Sea Cow, they really have no excuse of not creating action theme focusing on ingenious inventors, their convoluted contraptions, and intrepid adventurers in a brazen age of Jules Verne, If not set in industrial Victorian England, then in the Old West........
  9. I think the best Lego Theme aimed speciffically for girls was Paradisa, not only was it with regular minifigs, but also very compatible with Classic Town theme, if you disregard mostly pink/white colourscheme.
  10. The Doc is great, the knight on other hand.... very bad, the helmet is a unidentified gold and silver mess, the sabattons are ok, (although a little too big) but the pauldrons need more work. I understand, that Doctor uses incense burner to clean the Putrid Air, but what is that stick supposed to be? And yes, you may enter the knight, but without that god-awful helmet.
  11. This guy can just go megablock himself. Who is he anyway to judge us, AFOLs? Just because he's a miserable loser with no hobby, doesn't mean he's more manly than anyone of us. Furthermore, he has no arguments, so he just tries to ridicule us, but in the result nobody take HIM serious. This is just a sad and pathetic display of chauvinism, limited thinking, and overall stupidity. As Mr. T would say: I pity dat Fool.
  12. I love how you made the harpies, really nice build. :)
  13. Nice article, say, how about making a series of articles about iconic minifigs? I already have some ideas: Captain Redbeard and his crew, Ann Droid from Exploriens and her brother Andy from Spyrius, Classic spacemen including Benny, Basil the Batlord, Knights Kingdom I and II cast, Blacktron, Majisto, the first Lego wizard, Rock Raiders, etc.
  14. Unfortunately, nope, although there are two-coloured short legs.
  15. Any news about any new decorations? Or was this only (kinda dissapointing) brick update? Also, we get the two colour short legs, but no two-tone minifig arms? The heck?
  16. By Matt you do mean Matt Groenig, or is it just a hilarious coincidence?
  17. I think CMF Bandit's pants, with bullet belt, The other two rather don't make sense, the first ones have a coat outline, and as we all know, Johnny does't wear a black coat, and those pants combined with his iconic beige safari shirt would look just plain weird. The third ones, with a studded belt, well, Johnny Thunder is an archaeologist, not a rock star.... Besides, these sort of belts are too modern for the Adventurers time period (I think it was Roaring Twenties, or somewhere before WWI). So yeah, Mr. Thunder is surely quite of a Gunslinger, and the ammo belt will surely compliment that colt he got tucked behind his belt.....
  18. If I can throw in my two cents, in my humble opinion, glueing Lego is a horrible and barbaric thing to do, and completely misses the point of Lego, as a creative toy.
  19. I think CMF Judge's head would be better for the pitchfork man's face, since it has round glasses and a simmilar expression.... Otherwise, It's really nice. :)
  20. That's not the werewolf from CMF, It's from Monster Hunters. I think Beorn from the Hobbit would classify:
  21. Actually It was just a recolor/minifig swap of my Space Pirates ship, which in turn was a recolour/minifig swap of my Space Justice (old LDD space theme) ship. So, the original two basically looked the same, except the minifigs and colour scheme.... :P
  22. Since the advent of Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! and (soon) LEGO Ideas Exosuit, It seems Classic Space with it's blue/grey/yellow colour scheme and logo is having a great comeback from the 70'ties. Apparently, the Classic Space Madness has also claimed me and my trusty copy of Lego Digital Designer, because I have remade one of my old spaceships to fit in the theme . And so, without any more ado, Ladies and Gentlebricks, I present to you, The N30-C5 Class Gunship: A fine vessel, Isn't she? Please note that It's a NEO Classic-Space MOC, built with many parts that weren't even in concept stage at the Classic Space era. For example the gargantuan canopy, covering the cockpit. Now Speaking of Cockpit...... Here it is, In all it's Trans-Yellow glory, there's a lot of place for the Pilot, the Captain, and an abundance of controlls and blinking lights. Behind Commanders chair, There's a Cargo Bay, and behind it we have...... GUNNERY STATIONS! These twin side cannons are operated by two crew members, and can swivel and rotate. Now I'm thinking, that With some modificatons (adding small rear thrusters), they could be used as detachable scout speeders. These dual plasma cannons can pack quite a punch to some Blacktron ship's hull, but they aren't the most powerful weapon on deck, which is.... The Ion Turret, Here in the delicate female hands of the First Officer. It's devastating firepower (for a gunship, of course), and 360 degrees rotation range, makes N30-C5 a flying space tank. This beastie, if charged to maximum power, can put a hole through a Fregate, but it's better to be careful, and not overcharge it. Other weapons include Flick Fire Torpedoes, Repulsors, Wing guns, and more, to cope with any situation. And no, the blue dome under the trans-yellow dome is not a astromech droid, it's the power shield generator, where do you think we are, Tatooine? ANYWAY, Lets talk about how this beauty moves across the outer space..... And Here we are, at the stern. The imposing Main engine is a masterpiece of engineering, and, It's also equipped with hyperdrive, I won't bore you with numbers and technical mumbo-jumbo, Just want to tell you that this monstrosity of a thruster is powered by a cold fusion reactor, which grants enough speed to flee away from a cluster of Insectoid fighters, not to mention Spyrius Interceptors... Despite It's vast arsenal and thick, titanium alloyed armour, N30-C5 still can meet a tougher adversary. This one particularly has many battle scars and bruises, but this gaping hole through which the reactor is peeking out is a serious problem. It got blown up by some rogue extra-terrestial saucer's blaster. Let's hope that necessary repairs are made as soon as possible. Now, who want's to see the inside of the ship? So, here it is, bird's-eye shot of the ship with removed roof. You can see the cockpit, the cargo bay & weapon storage, the gunnery station, and the reactor chamber. There's a lot of mercantile in the hold, mainly energy crystals traded from a remote M-Tron colony, and alien fossils excavated by some Explorien scientists. You can also see the maintenance robot, recharging it's battery, in other words SLACKING OFF. Get back to work you lazy piece of scrap! That hole in the reactor chamber won't patch itself! Finally, meet the Intrepid Crew! From Left to Right: Captain, Pilot, First Officer, two Gunners, and our lazy robot friend (Sorry for shouting at you, buddy ). I hope you Liked my little trbute to classic Lego Space theme. Goodbye, and have a good day fellow AFOLs. Eggy's out. PS. To any mods around, If my Images are too big please resize them.
  23. As I expected, Swashbuckler is just a rehashed Musketeer, but more Errol Flynn-like....... I like theDino Tracker, she looks perfect for some post-apocalyptic MOCs.... Space Miner, The Wizard and Athena/Minerva/Battle Goddess a awesome! Can't ait for more......
  24. Aw, he looks kinda sad...... do you got a name for that guy? If not, Maybe that's why he's so blue.... (Sorry, couldn't help myself...)
  25. What I love about this update, is that the CMF and other decorations are now avaible to apply via decoration tool. It opens oh-so-much possibilities! Except I can't decorate the Bagpiper's kilt/Pretzel Girl's skirt.....
