  1. Meanwhile I struggle with simple off the grid building techniques. This is absolutely stunning feat of Lego Engineering.
  2. I kinda used those words semi ironically, semi jokingly. Didn't mean to insult anyone, or start stuff. As I said, I'm not a Lego Purist myself. I just think introducing other brands to the equation will be a mess. I'm autistic, I don't like changes much.
  3. I voted 1 option. No bootlegs and copycats allowed! However in the happenstance we still get other brands of constructable toys, I'd rather have them in separate threads. Now, I'm not a die hard purist (I've got some sets from Temu), but still, I'd rather have a Lego themed forum that is only about Lego for the sake of clarity, and avoiding confusion.
  4. Guys, you know what should be your main priority Right now? BRING BACK OLD MINIFIG DECORATIONS! PLEASE! I WILL NOT UPDATE UNTILL YOU BRING THEM BACK!
  5. Question: are all old minifig decorations updated? I've postponed updating ever since the new UV maps were introduced, and now I really want to update, but I'm afraid that my minifigures will get messed up.
  6. Love thats slick 1950s aesthetic!
  7. That center indentation is called a "Fuller". That's a really cool built tho.
  8. Question, I just updated, and all minifig decorations are enlarged, and look weird. Will there be a fix? Seriously, either update all prints to fit the new UV mapping, or tell me how to revert. I really hate this change, was it really necessary? It only messed up all my mocs with minifigs, and I can't stand it.
  9. Let's just call it Sloop o' War then, as it designated any non-fully rigged ship in the Navy. :)
  10. Very nice ship, but it can't be a frigate. It needs to have three masts to qualify so. For now it's a Royal Navy Brig. But a marvelous brig, nontheless.
  11. Thanks, I'm glad you like it. :)
  12. Coincidentally, some time ago I actually made a neo-Ice Planet ship:
  13. Uhhh, that's Exploriens, not Futuron/Unitron.
  14. I know, and I'm a huge fan. :)
  15. Nice! Always happy to see Warhammer MOCs.
  16. Oh, I see some Averland Imperials!
  17. I like the Organ, though I doubt there ever was a whole honking pipe organ on board on a sailing vessel, Flying Dutchman and Nautilus nonwithstanding. I'd say a harpsichord would be a better choice for an instrument.
  18. My man, this isn't the place for that, go there:
  19. I didn't post it on Eurobricks yet.
  20. You're Welcome, I modified my copy of Brick Bounty (also a Brig) into a Brigantine. Changing ship rigs is fun.
  21. Interesting, Barracuda was a Brig before, and now it's a sort of Barque with lateen mizzen. Cool.
  22. Captain Redbeard. He is the OG Pirate captain, and he commandeered the most of the ships out of all of them: Black Seas Barracuda, Skull Eye's Schooner, Red Beard Runner, Cross Bone Clipper, (arguably) Brick Bounty. He's an absolute icon and a legend. PoTC captains don't count, as they are from their own theme. Brickbeard was way too shortlived and his Jolly Roger looks childish and goofy. Creator Captain is sloppy seconds minifig with no class or even name, and CMF Captain doesn't even have a ship, nor name. Also the list is incomplete, it Lacks the CMF Zombie Captain, Duplo Pirates and Jack Stone-like junior Pirates.
  23. Well, then Theory confirmed! With official approval from TLG, no less! :D But I still prefer your version Robert!
