Why Sancho Pansa is wearing a Sombrero? I think that the Wolf Pack hood would be more fitting for a 15th century spanish peasant.....
-
It reminds me of Xenomorphs...... the head especially, H. R. Giger would be proud....
-
It Needs C3PO, so you can reenact the hilarious head swap scene.....

Fantastic review Clone O'Patra, I'm totally getting this set, but in the part where you write about the back of the gatehouse model the photo is just a Cloned (Sorry for this lame excuse for a pun ) photo of the gatehouse's front..... You might want to look into that.....

For some time now,There are also some problems with minifig part compatibility, The Ringwraith cape can't be used with any of the three hoods, and General Zod's body armor can't be worn with Kryptonian helmets. Also there are some weird issues with colouring multicoloured parts, namely: CMF Classic alien's head, CMF/Galaxy Squad Mech armor, Squidman's/CMF Alien's head, and Eeth Koth/Agen Kolar Hair.

Did one of the students came to the lecture in his pajamas?

Ah, The Elder Scrolls and Lego, My two favourite things combined together, but since you're a big fan of TES, why would you butcher the names so badly? It's Dovahkiin, and Jorrvaskr, respectively. Otherwise, that's a pretty awesome rendition of Ysgramor's hall, but it looks kinda out of proportions, it should be wider, but i can understand that you would need lots of bricks to achieve right proportions.... Still, I love it, I would like to see more TES inspired MOCs.... Any plans to include Skyforge?

Although the snowman with human skull on top is kinda morbid........

Thanks Aanchir, you're the best!

That's cool, but what about other decorations? For example Castle ones?

Could anyone please update the .lxf with all decorated blocks? I really crave for all the new minifig prints, yet, i have no idea how to add them to LDD.... Pretty please?

Nice diorama, but you messed up the pre-columbean tribe names in the title. Architecture here is more Mayan, or Aztec rather than Inkan, also, you say it's Central America, and Inkas lived in SOUTH America. Besides on flickr the title clearly says Chichen Itza, which was a Mayan city, not Inkan. So, the post title should be "Mayan Diorama".......

Thank you all for kind comments! @Lifeinplastic: By Marie Antoinette look, you meant this? Nah, just pulling your leg here, How about this? You have to admit it, Andrea's hair make a perfect 18th century wig in light grey...... As for the ribbon, I'd prefer smaller Bellvile one, but couldn't find it in LDD. And now for something Completely different: YARRR! Stand and Deliver, me fine Lady! Put all yer precious bounty in 'tis bag!

Just a little showcase of some ideas for future CMF series. If anybody else would want to show their vision of new Minifigs, feel free to post'em here. Here we have all minifigs from my series: Upper Row, L to R: Pirate (A crewmember of series 8 Captain), Archeologist, Silent Movie Actor (Obviously based on Charlie Chaplin), Cyborg (Terminator style), Female Jockey, Damsel in Distress, Dark Elf, and Boy Scout. Lower Row L to R: The Hunchback (Quasimodo), Medieval Monk, Kung-Fu Master, Metalhead, The Monster's Bride, Flight Attendant, Wizard and Gamer. And Now Close-ups, and some words on the accesories. Pirate: has a dark Reddish brown hat and flintlock pistol, and a light green parrot. Archeologist: A reddish brown bag, fedora, a magnifying glass, and a white bone. Charlie Chaplin Silent Movie Actor: just a black bowler and walking cane. Hunchback: Reddish brown farmer's hat, and a hump, made of a neck bracket, Fez, and military helmet (TLG would rather make a new mold for it). Monk: reddish brown hood, short cape, white quill. Also a book, and hair, if you want your monk to take off his hood. Kung-Fu Master (AKA Sensei Wu meets Pai Mei from Kill Bill vol. 2 ): White Hair, Beard, and a really cool oriental staff. Cyborg: reddish brown crewcut, Gunmetal ADU Gun (It may not be visible, but he has Dr. Rathbone's mechanical leg piece in gunmetal color) Jockey: Friends black horseriding hat (with blond ponytail), a golden ribbon (with a blue star under is, so it can be held in hand), and a black whip. Damsel: Nothing, apart of medium blue princess headdress. MetalHead: black Dumbledore's wig, Gunmetal spiky pauldrons from PoP theme, Black and dark red Friends Guitar. (I tried to give him a KISS-like facepaint, but I couldn't find an accurate face print ) The Bride of Frankenstein Monster: Dr. Inferno's hair (The closest thing to the original's black and white hive-like hairdo). Flight Attendant: a blue Garrison cap (Maybe TLG would finally itroduce this piece in real...), a reddish brown suitcase, and white 2x1 tile, which is supposed to be an airplane ticket (needs printing). Dark Elf: White LEGOlas hair with medium bley ears, Gunmetal Shredder's Pauldrons, two Gunmetal Katanas (Before you ask: No, their names aren't Twinkle and Icingdeath ). Boy Scout: Olive green ranger hat, reddish brown backpack, pearl gold trumpet Wizard (First Lego wizard wearing a long robe instead of pair of trousers!): Earth Blue Wizard Hat, Medium Lilac cape, and a staff, consisting of Pharaoh's Quest staff, and Trans bright bluish violet magic wand. Hardcore Gamer: reddish brown hair with white headset with microphone (think LAN Party ), a black laptop (there would be a print on a screen, depicting a game he plays), and a can of whoopass energy drink (the pearl silver round tile would also do for a cd i guess...). Any suggestions? I Hope you like this little presentation, and maybe come up with more interesting Ideas. Toodles, Eggy.

I think you forgot about an important thing in the chapel: An Altar, and maybe a desktop for priest to read holy books during a sermon. Maybe you would want to add a tomb, ot two in the chapel... I'd also would put some torture devices (like torture rack, Gibbet, decapitation block) to the dungeon... If there would be maidens' room, I would suggest putting a loom, or spinning wheel in it. If it's going to be a fantasy castle, how about court wizard's or alchemist's laboratory? With bookshelfs, crystal orbs, desks with bottles, a cauldron, or telescope...

Personally, I wish for the rest of the partially implemented themes to be complete, that is: More Pirates II Decorations, I especially crave for Captain Brickbeard's, Imperial Admiral's and Soldiers' torsos... Fantasy Era (or Kingdoms) Castle minifigs, including armor decals. All Agents theme decorations, Torsos & legs (Agents and dr. Inferno especially), rest of the heads (I think Firearm's face is way more cooler than Sawfist's), more tile and slope decos. CMF Series 9 and, maybe later 10 (If there also will be parts from series 10) Also, Legend of Chima helmets without printing are pretty much pointless.....

Totally awesome MOC! I love the roof building Technique, I might use it some day...... Also, can't wait to see the cremation scene....
-
WEll, They Are supposed to be simple wooden shacks, and if you have noticed, they aren't repetitive, each building differs in details, you have to Download the .LXF, and look closer... But maybe I'll pus some white adobe buildings, to break the monotony..... EDIT: It's been a while, and I've modified Redrock city, added Grocery, made a bigger saloon, and some outskirts.... ;)

About Nazguls, I think They deserve their own Battlepack: The WitchKing on Fellbeast, and eight Ringwraths on Horses... That Would be Cool, IMHO.....
-
Actually, It IS Roman. See the base? It has stairs only at front. And Greek Temples had Crepidoma, with three steps, running around the temple.....
-
Thanks for your kind words... to bad, that no one else is interested in my MOC... Please, anybody, Tell me what do you think about it, I need some support here.... Why do everyone ignore me and my MOC, That's Unfair!

There's just too many themes and sets I'd wish to have.... Did you know I never got a Lego Castle? Or a big Pirate ship? My collection of Lego's only consists of smaller sets, and I never got the newer themes sets.... I even have no Collectable Minifigs.... It's horrible, but when I look at all your set reviews, and all the fantastic MOCs which you make with such large assortment of bricks I feel nothing but envy and grief.... Sorry for being such a downer, but I really miss the times when I collected Lego sets as a kid.... Now my family think I'm too old for lego, and have more important things to do in life.... And they packed almost all of my bricks down to basement.... And that's the sad story of my life....
-
It's a CGI picture, actual Minifig will rather have normal arms.....

Is It just me, or his right ear is different colour than the face? Maybe It's just lightning, or something, but it's much brighter than Legolas' skintone... It kinda even look light gray to me..... Did anyone beside me noticed it?
