There you go.

How does it look now?
-
Well, I checked it out, and it Works! So, here's Blacktron Sharovipterix fleet in all it's rendered glory:
-
No, actually, I never have heard of it. Is it more user friendly than that combobulated mess of an interface called POVray?
-
Just a heads up: I've just built a Storage Module/Cargo Bay for Sharovipterix, and it looks something like this:
-
No, I really don't know how to render stuff with POV-ray, this program is too complicated to me...

Greetings and Salutations, fellow Eurobrickers and Eurobrickerettes, It is I, Eggyslav, and it's time to present to you my newest spaceship, this time, straight outta fleet of our beloved spacefaring bad guys, the Blacktron gang. Now I know what are you thinking: Wow, Eggy rarely graces this forum with his MOCs, but when he does, It's always cool and epic, to which I say, Thank you for your admiration, it really means a lot to me, but other than that, I guess you also think something along the lines of: Sharovipterix? WTH is that? Why would you give such an outlandish and weird name to a spacecraft? Well, Sharovipterix was a little early thriasic reptile, that looked like this: Myeah, kinda freaky looking, right? Why would Blacktrons call their ship like that? Well, because it looks like this: GASP! Are these brothers separated in birth? No, of course not, one is a prehistoric reptile, and the second one is a rocket propelled space vehicle, but, there are certain similarities, note the huge set of wings at the back, and tiny ones up front, kinda similar, huh? Similar enough to give it this name. Also I think it sounds cool. Sharovipterix... Kinda have that futuristic Blacktron flare to it, like "Grid Trekkor", or "Three Wheeled Tyrax", or "Battrax"... Now onto the ship itself, did I mentionned the ship is modular? No? Oh, silly me, that's one of it's prominent features! Now, above, you can see the basic, "Fighter" mode, but with the magic of technic pins, you can separate the front from the back, and put some additional modules: Now That looks more intimidating, right? Here he have added the "Command Center" and "Scout Pod" modules (Because these are only two modules I came up to, if you have ideas for more modules, post them in the comments!). Now, with the modular nature of these ships, the Blacktrons can quickly transform the Sharovipterix to suit their needs. Need a commander ship? Add the Command Centre module! Need to freight some stolen goods over the galaxy? Add a Storage Module (Haven't built that one, maybe someday...), Need more firepower? Artillery Module will do the trick (also not built yet...)! Need a tactical advantage? Add Scout pods, deploy them, and suprise that pesky Space Police ships with crossfire. They also make nice getaway lifeboats if the situation get sticky... Just look at them, they're so blocky and cute: Or, just put on all the modules, and make your craft the deadliest thing that ever floated in space. Or, dump all the modules away, for speed, and maneuverability. Or make a whole fleet of Sha... Sharo... SharonStoneixeses? Sharovipterixes. Right. Thanks for your attention, C&C are Desperatedely Craved Welcome, And see you next MOC. This was Commander Eggyslav, signing out, over.

LDD 4.3 "Bricks download Failed"

It's 9:24, and still nothing... -
Guys I really need your help, I recently had an... accident with my hard disk drive, and I had to replace it. Naturally, my copy of LDD (and all my creations ) were gone. So, I wanted to start from scratch, and downloaded LDD from TLG's website, and installed it. But halfway through "downloading bricks" part of loading screen, a dialogue box popped out, saying that "Bricks download failed", and asked me if I wanted to launch LDD in offline mode, and then, immediately after that, ctd happened. I contacted via e-mail TLG Customer Service already, but maybe you guys have a solution? Please, help...

Lone Ranger Passenger Cars? (Mid 18th Century American Style)
Eggyslav replied to supertruper1988's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Uh, you've got something messed up man, in mid 18th century (or, circa 1750), steam trains weren't even invented. Proper form would be either mid 1800-ties, or mid 19th century. Sorry for Nit-Picking, but I hate it when people do this type of mistake. Also, Try movies for reference, all kind of Westerns, but also "Legend of Zorro", "Wild Wild West", and (Although it's set a little bit later) "Back to the Future III". -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Eggyslav replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
UGH, I'm really, REALLY sorry for the upcoming ranting, but I HATE it when people confuse historical periods, Marie Antoinette lived in 18th century, and died beheaded during French Revolution. Queen Victoria ruled over Britain during second half of the 19th century. The style of art and fashion during the reign of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette is called ROCCOCO, not Victorian. Gosh, didn't you have history classes in school? Jeez! Ok, rant is over, and yeah, I also do think we need more 18th century style minifigs, apart from the Revolutionary Soldier, the Judge, and Pirate Captain... -

This is so cool... -
Nce modular, but apart from the minifigs and Jolly Rogers on the roof, I don't see a pirate theme going out there... I do like the Rave Jester however... XD

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Eggyslav replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I guess it's time to spill my thoughts: 1. Winged Warior is awesome, he is so... gold, plus, he's a good cheap way to get that Chima Phoenix armor. 2. Animal Control: Meh, the figure itself is boring, but the skunk is really nice... 3. Laserbot: Even though it's just a remake of the Mecha, I. WANT. IT. 4. Janitor: The mop is cool, and I could give one to a Pirate cabin boy to swab the deck... 5. Jewel thief is pretty cool, the Black Widow's hair in black really add to the character. 6 Pig Farmer: I like his legs. And the piggy looks cute. :) 7. Astronaut: I'd prefer him to have the old half-dome visor, than regular one, but still, nice fig, and dat CS flag... 8. Knight: Perhaps my favourite fig, but It would make more sense if his tabard and plume were red, or dark red, to go along with the shield... 9. Satyr: Best figure in the series, and those legs open so many new possibilities, I think that combining those legs with some Nexo Knights' baddies torso, and this head, one can easilly make a devil minifig... 10. Shark guy: I'm not into animal costume minifigs, but it's a decent one, the fin arms are nice addition. 11. Queen: I love it, she looks so majestic, and the new dress piece is great. 12. Wrestler: Dat. Mullet. 13. Ballerina: I wonder what material is her tutu made of, propably the same rubbery plastic as in the Actor's and Sad Clown's ruffle. 14. Squaw: So, that's how newborn minifigs look like, another Lego mystery solved! XD 15. Kendoka: Bokken? More like boring. He doesn't even have printed legs, and some printed pleats to emulate a Hakama wouldn't hurt... 16. Clumsy Guy: If you build a lego hospital, you might want to get a lot of those guys, the crutches, the head bandages can be all really useful for many MOCs and scenarios, anywhere. Now, if the crutches were brown, or at least tan, they could be used in historical themes as well... -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Eggyslav replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Actually Kendokas use a wide array of weapons, including both staves (called Bo or Jo), and swords, albeit not real katanas but rather wooden (Bokken), and bamboo (shinai) training swords. They also use Naginatas (a pole weapon, similar to our glaives), Tonfas (bludgeoning weapon akin to police batons), Kamas (sort of a battle sickle), and Kusarigamas (same as kama, but with a ball on a chain). A standard katana in reddish brown would do for a bokken, but it would be boring, I'd rather prefer a new weapon mold, which would be also useful, for example in Ninjago, or even City (A Tonfa as Police Baton)... -

Eggyslav replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think Kendo Warrior will have the old Kendo helmet from Ninjago, but perhaps we'll get a new shinai or even naginata mould, that would be cool... -
I think it might be a little too high for minifigs to use...
