LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Fuppylodders replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They really need to make a droid body that has a slot for the round section of the turntable to click in it so a normal druids head can swivel as a minifig. They're missing a trick there... Anyways, where has this talk of a slave 1 come from? Have I missed a rumour, or is that people concluding that a 'hoped for' ship likely is now guaranteed a long way off (if at all) due to the minifig line up in the boost ring? -

Bit hypocritical there don't you think? Being a total dick just to get some laughs? Definition of troll. And trolling is immature. So to think you are also over 16 is ridiculous as you haven't proved it so far, but, very much the opposite. Poor little guy has nothing exciting going on in his life that this is the only way he can get enjoyment and feel above everyone else. You must be doing pretty shit in the real world to hide away here pulling crap like this. -

Is it not possible it might be thrown in with the wave? I mean, like captain rex's at-te and the rebel combat frigate were released alongside the first rogue one wave...? Ah sorry, yeah, I meant the one from Rogue One... Then again, could also be the one from ep7 too -

Sir von Lego is a respected and well known 'informative'. If he says something, he is either being straight up about what he knows or he is just being cryptic as he can't always release everything he knows straight away. Anyway, I'm just wondering, where did the confirmation come from that the rumoured AT-AT set coming in October is the gorilla (ep8) version, and not the at-act from ep7? I've not seen any known leaker mention it other than vaderfan suddenly confirm it himself... -

It isn't the B-Wing that we are used to as it doesn't have two of the side wings, only one which is the one dragging along the ground. In fact, the thing dragging along the ground isn't even one of those side flappy wings. It only has what resembles the main fuselage of the B-Wing, and it has a tail like thing coming off the central body section of it. It may be derived from the B-Wing like the rebel transporter, but it isn't a B-Wing. -
I like it! The simplicity and size works rather well for it, I look forward to seeing the finished article with the rest of fhe detailing. Maybe add a gear to the back end of the axle, add a gear to the bottom, join with a chain, then add power functions :D

You literally aren't reading any of my posts are you?! I refer to my very first post to which you responded to, to which you uave now just made the very same point that I initially made: *that it is such a low run production set that they wouldn't be selling thousands upon thousands to recoup costs and make a decent profit.* Nor did I ever state that the design process is what exclusively doubles the price, I stated it as an added *factor* to be considered amongst other things, which I have also stated in my posts to which again, you responded to. If you want to carry on this discussion, feel free to pm me as I've repeated myself enough times now... -

So, because it can be reverse engineered in minutes from an image of something that already exists means it would take pretty much the same time to design? You believe the released design was the first, last and only design? I can't say it was or wasn't, but it's a bit ignorant for the above statement of reverse engineering to be the only time and cost involved. You seem to be completely ignoring the fact I have already agreed that the location of the sale and the exclusivity of the set will have raised the price as well, especially as TLG know that every single one of them will be sold so they are pretty much in a free market for what they can charge within reason. I'm just saying that there are other costs and involved. Its not stretching either, it's a simple fact, there are other costs involved whether you choose to believe it or not. -

I didn't say that it's because of the pieces involved. I said there are other costs involved. The artwork design and planning costs of the box, the time taken to design and perfect the set itself and other hidden costs that we don't know about. They don't produce this for free with just the cost of the ink used to print the box and the pieces by themselves... Or do you actually seriously believe that? As well as the fact I also agreed about the fact it is an exclusive, and the location of where to obtain it. But it is not simply JUST because it is an exclusive... -

I think people also forget regarding the high price, that it is such a low run production set that they wouldn't be selling thousands upon thousands to recoup costs and make a decent profit. So that, on top of being an exclusive, and being sold where it's being sold, kinda makes sense. Additionally, the great thing about it is, anyone that likes the set for the set itself and not the cardboard box it comes in to keep it for resale value, can enjoy bricklinking it as there is nothing really exclusive in the set itself. -

Absolutely love it! I started one of these ages ago but gave up after struggling at the first hurdle of the t-rex head... I love how you have made it so it looks extremely close to the source material, I still have my megazord and used to love it so to see such a good replica in Lego is awesome! Have you built it in real bricks yet? Do you know if it would be sturdy?

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

I'm actually really glad of the R2 buildible fig, it's something completely different and kinda unique, it also opens up the opportunities to populate another scale of a moc with a droid. Also, the guy that initially leaked it on Facebook and got told it was fake and got put down for it by so many people will finally have justice! I was hoping to go in store and buy the snowspeeder but with the may 4th opportunities I'll have to order it asap and find another reason to go to the store! Any further info on the droid minifig polybags that join together with respect to being released anywhere? -

I was talking of him wanting to discuss what he wanted to see in it, NOT whether the UCS mf rumour was true or not. There are no further details of rumours of the UCS mf, therefore there is no need to bring it up just for the sake of wanting to talk about how one hopes it to be. 'might be true or invented' And that right there is where this thread slightly differs. There has to be some weight to it or everyone could happily invent whatever they wanted and this thread would be pointless. Pm me if you wish to continue this as I don't want to clog this thread more than it is. -

What you request to be done belongs in the future star wars thread (what you want/hope for)... This thread already has enough clutter of non actual rumour stuff... -

But it's still a leak of something not officially revealed with final pictures yet, just place holders... I was slightly confused too, but didn't feel the need to say anything. He was right about the 'USC' though, that's also been bugging me for ages! -
Your imaginations and takes on the competition requirements are something else!!! I love the idea of it actually being a dream, but represented so well!!! Conveying the fact it's a dream is done perfectly and I instantly got that without having read your description first. Excellent build!

This looks really good! Good enough to be mistaken for a set, and one I'd love to have too!

No, they'll just use Qui Gon Jinn's hair piece instead http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/star-wars-canon/images/8/8b/Quigon.png/revision/latest?cb=20151215210554

Wouldn't jj abrahms have a larger say over it than Wookieepedia considering he directed it?
