EB event #9: Time/date of arrival and last information

I'm picky about that....anything without alcohol would do. I had my last beer about 7 years ago at the Cavern. I know, not much of a drinker. -
EB event #9: Time/date of arrival and last information
Redhead1982 replied to Holodoc's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I spoke to Cwetqo, we're planning to leave Ljubljana around 15.30-16.30 (depending on the traffic jams as he's kindly picking me up on the other side of the city). According to google.maps it's about 5 hour drive, again heavily dependent on the traffic (jams before Munich, etc.). Hopefully, we plan to be there round 21.-22.00. Will someone be awake then? -
I think it's more about practicing pushing the F5 button to refresh the page on time.

I was waiting for a reference search that was taking its time (very slow), and thought of refreshing the EB page. I'll be offline most Saturday and Sunday, as I'm participating at a smaller exhibition, so you'll have better chance for winning.

Great job with the MOD. The building looks great in a linear form. Are the interiors symmetrical with two projectors and screens?

I'd prefer spring time trees. It's a nice town layout and the spring time trees make it a little bit more sunny, if you know what I mean. The little dark red tree looks fine, it looks as some type of Japanes maple tree. So, I'd only remove the yellow/orange ones, as they looks too much like autumn (not that they're not nice, but, man, we're still hoping for some summer time before that).

I knew I was gonna miss it. At least I'd guess (google) it from the hints on the pic (red boat hull, water and instruction numbers).

Isn't it fun? I had to be at work really early today, for someone who didn't show up at eight. And since my work for today is editing figures and finalizing manuscript, I'm in front of my PC all day (at least till 4 pm). although I'm pretty sure I'll miss the right time and someone will beat me to it.

I might be wrong, but I thought I'm buying the 3300014 from you. (Unless Cecilie asked first and I missed that somewhere.) Thanks, Cecilie - I was just about to check for your posts.

Great looking she-dragon!

I'd love that one, and you have a great price. That might be nice (and practical). I don't wish to bring my two (boring) City sets if no one's interested. This way we have more luggage space for the new buys.

Thanks, that's a great advice. Edit: Damn, the folder's not public yet.

Upon checking H's signature, it definitely looks like a ship. I wonder where the number 6 will be hidden tomorrow.

I'm with you. Just let me grab my morning tea from the kitchen, and I'll stay in front of the screen all day (cause I have to for other reasons).

It's a lovely design. Despite yellow being not the best color for building, if cleverly mixed with other colors, it has a great effect. The interiors is lovely, it's a bit tight with space, but you managed it well. The texture and offset of some brick looks well on the facade. Nice work.
-
It's impressive scale - it's a super modular building. A hospital wouldn't fit well into a standard size modular. You did a great work with the interior details as well. Well done.
-
That would be better for me, as I'm in front of the computer most of the day, but would be bad for my work. Just go ahead and surprise us.
-
Poor you.... In that case, you should at least have some fun with the numbers.

My first thought was that it something from the Chima or Ninjago, but Cecilie was to quick with answering. Some people are up to early. There's nothing before 8 am on a week day for me... only :sadnew: .

Thanks for this great review. It's always fun to read it, specially as it's written in a way that really promotes the set without hiding the weak points, but emphasizing all the good ones.

I agree with Cecilie. I'm sure it's 8285 - Tow Truck.

That's great, Holodoc. I don't have much for trade, though. I have these sets (1 of each) in a box (both with a sticker on from the store). If you're not interested in these sets, I have some EUR too.
-
I know it's almost summer time, but with recent (extreme) drop in temperatures, I remembered the last year's Christmas set (3300014). Does anyone have an extra to trade?

Believe it or not, where I live, you can actually get a homemade icecream made from beer.
