  1. in need of a long afternoon nap...

  2. This is a fantastic build. I was impressed by its size, and all the lovely colorful detailing. The buildings itself are very nice, specially with the lively color scheme. The only thing I'm not fond of are the open platforms on the wheel, but that's a problem only for the less courages ones. Well done and enjoy Brickworld!
  3. This is a cute design. It looks nice with different models of vehicles. Enjoy the brick-building it.
  4. This is a fantastic building, and making it look like a modular, and keeping the easy access for play is a great idea. Even with the Friendly colors, it looks beautiful, and should be great seeing it in a layout. The color combination is lovely (also with the yellow line), but my favorite detail is the lavender roof. Great job!
  5. Pep, you're lucky. Enjoy the day. Luckily, I didn't know it... ..till the speed was back to almost normal.
  6. Hinckley, thanks for a very entertaining and extensive review. Despite being tired from a 6 hour drive home, I enjoyed every detail and spice in it. I'm looking forward to build my own one, although as I've already had a chance to see it built (thanks to Pandora), I know it has a great value. The set is meant to play with, so I'm hoping to do just that. Parts-wise, the amount of new colored bricks is great, and the set has a great potential also as parts-pack. It has playability, a lovely design, and is great also as a parts pack.
  7. Funny. But thanks for driving him. I slept till 8.30 (alone).
  8. At least you had bricks in your backpack, so you could play with them.
  9. I'm back home as well. This was my first event, and I enjoyed it very much. A huge thank you to the organizers CopMike, Holodoc, and Bonaparte for organizing an interesting program. It was great to meet some of the people from the EB community. I'm already looking forward to the next event, and hopefully, I'll see some of you sooner. Back to reality... ...sorting a huge pile of bricks, and then building!
  10. I'll pick the austrian vignette on my way home (cycling) from work, pack my laptop and ready to go. If there's a detour, can I bring my Beatles CD?
  11. I'm stuck at work till 2pm, then off home for a quick bite (made lunch already yesterday-so proud ), then off to meet Cwetqo and north to Gunzburg. Really looking forward to this trip. I'm actually quite productive at work at the moment (appart from posting here ), so I'm hoping I'll do what was planned for today. Edit: Does anyone know if there's a WiFi connection at the place we're staying or in the park? I can't find that info, and I'm considering packing my laptop, but it wouldn't make sense bringing one, if I cannot use WiFi.
  12. I'm checking on Yahoo weather, and it looks fine. It's mostly from 0-20% chance of rain, and 10-20°C low/high temperatures. It's more or less similar prediction from different sources. I hope the south autbahn will be clear of water, I found some news of floods from Chiemsee, which is likely to delay our journey.
  13. Congratulations to Cecilie! And a big thanks to Holodoc for hosting this! I really enjoyed the early morning hours checking for new posts from you, and playing the detective on BL and Brickset was part of the fun. See you soon, everyone.
  14. I'd be faster if I didn't quote Holodoc. I went for palm tree's first, but wasn't sure on this one, so I checked also the stem with leaves and found the same one. However, BL photo is tiny, so I doubled checked on Brickset. That's why it took so long.
  15. 5840 I was reading the page ''accidentally''. This one took some time to figure out. Nice one, though.
  16. You were still sleeping? I can't believe that. I don't know anything of a meeting place and morning time. I think the park opens at ten, so from then on...I certainly hope it won't be earlier, I'm still tired from the weekend, and Wednesday will be a long day.
  17. Again, an early hour. I just hope activities at the event don't start so early.
  18. My only visit to Legoland park was about a year ago, and to add to Holodoc's post about the ''Fabrik'', I spent a lot of my money there, and when comparing to BL prices (keeping in mind large quantities), some type of bricks are a good bargain there despite the 9 eur/100 g. My advice is to keep in mind the weight of the bricks, and go from there. For example, the 1x2 bricks are 0.8 g, which puts a price to a brick at 0.072 EUR. This might be a good price for same rare colours (I got sand green and dark orange last year). In general, light weight bricks are less expensive.
  19. To add my share, I recently opened a Bricklink store to offer there some of the parts and minifigs that I wasn't using (or needing) anymore. In about six months, I sold enough of the un-used bricks from my collection to afford the Palace Cinema, but I never considered how much I payed for those parts in the first place .For the moment, I see my BL store as a second market to offer other some parts that would otherwise just sit on my desk and be of no need to me, hence I also go with low prices to ''get rid'' of those. For the time being, this suits me nicely, but it's far from making profit - it's more making room for new sets/parts.
  20. Legogal, so you're planning a day in Legoland on Thursday? It would be nice to meet there.
  21. No need for that, unless you want to keep me company. I can pick Calanon at the station, as Cwetqo will lend me his car.
  22. I'm picky about that....anything without alcohol would do. I had my last beer about 7 years ago at the Cavern. I know, not much of a drinker.
  23. I spoke to Cwetqo, we're planning to leave Ljubljana around 15.30-16.30 (depending on the traffic jams as he's kindly picking me up on the other side of the city). According to google.maps it's about 5 hour drive, again heavily dependent on the traffic (jams before Munich, etc.). Hopefully, we plan to be there round 21.-22.00. Will someone be awake then?
