  1. "Ramming speed achieved!" Very nice in deed. A pride in the Kaliphlin fleet!
  2. My brother actually got the 379 bus station for Christmas when it came out, it was the first set we got that had flowers. Ever since then it has been studs down for me until recently when i started mixing the ways.
  3. Thanks WhiteFang for a great review. Im curious how this and the DeLorian will look side by side, if they will feel the same scale or not.
  4. Nice build.. always fun to see some city related moc that's a bit more unusual than the normal trucks cars and so on! Great play features as welll!
  5. I tend to build when the kids are asleep (and well fed) and all my other duties are done.. but I have found myself building until 4 i the morning and having a real trouble to get out of bed at 6 to be at work at 7.. sometimes i get into a building spree if im MOC'ing and just build and build..
  6. Im sorry but I don't see any real "hard, cold, down to earth" evidence that You tube would be suppressing (like deliberate and active hindering) ANY videos from reaching the audience as long as it don't violate the site terms and rules, Sometimes things glitch and things don't show up right away, but that happens also to "regular" topics, not only the topics that also can be find using "de-bunked prefix after the topic name for an more scientific approach . The best thing to make sure things show up I guess is making something a lot op people like to watch and share. (cute kittens is always a win ) And working with support on software systems I must say that a lot of times the problems is origin from the user side , not having fully understood the way to use the software. Have You contacted Youtube customer service and asked for advise? Hope things sort out for You ! And +1 on emilstorms comment above me.
  7. Yes , very nice build and lots of nice details, like the mentioned firewood pile above.. I do feel that it would have been nice if the wall had been just a tad higher and also a bit thicker to really give the moc that extra "in the shadow of the wall" feeling. If that was what You were aiming for.
  8. Very nice in deed! I must say I also love the little screens by their beds! And very nice use of a the planet in the background!
  9. NIce! The use of DK green with DK tan on the ground is nice. In combination with both the darker leaves and the orange leaves the tree and the darker colors on the ground it sets a more darker tone the the build thats suits the tale that is told very well! from me!
  10. Very nice! Cool shape and nice colors.Always nice to see really old elements mixed in a build with new type of parts. Is the stickers from a Lego set or self made?
  11. Hello Im mechamike, and Im a swoosher. There have been periods In my life when I rejected that fact that I was a swoosher and didn't swoosh openly and only swooshed when I was alone. But now Im out of the closet and friends and family knows and understands that Im a swoosher. (However I try to restrain myself from swooshing in the nude (at least i keep my sock's on. .) and I try to be a bit quiet when doing the various sound effects to accompany the swooshing. Swooshing is not only a great way to put smiles on peoples faces, (or make em stare) it's also excellent to make sure Your model will have some fair chance of being displayed without falling apart by it self or loosing bricks. cheers!
  12. This series of moc's are really wonderful so,much attention to detail. Wow, Im stunned, thanks for sharing this!
  13. sorting, sorting , SORTING!!!

  14. Yes very nice introduction build (and story) and excellent photo! Love the mix of the green lush top and the sandstone desert chamber, Nice bricked!
  15. Thanks for a very nice review! Would have been nice as said if there had been some sort of land based vehicle in the set , but its a sweet set as it is, a good parts pack for any neo-space builder. And I really wish Lego would bring that crater base plate back into production.
  16. Thanks for the tips. A ladder to the roof is a good idéa.Ill se if I can fit one. Should be room on the container, as long as it don't interfere with the spare wheel, I'll think I'll try to lower the roof on the cab, and see if i can fit som railing and extra lights there. The truck is based on my old launcher, and I did a different grille on that that was dk grey. I think i will break up the side of the cab with a sticker of some kind. old launcher:
  17. Very nice,I like the blocky style of the mech, its almost a bit cartoonish.
  18. Wow.. very nice build.. its always nice to see the bamboo leaves used as bamboo! Makes me want to make a "Mini Ninja (the game) Moc after looking at this. Well bricked!!
  19. They are both nice build, I would have prefer if the tunnel had been in the center of the build and the figs feet had not been visible in the latrine. Perhaps put the torso a half stud in on jumper plates. The house and the wall with its 3 wide stair is really nice and I hope I one day can build as nice as that. The minifig posing is excellent and the little well is really a nice touch. I dont know if im allowed to give points yet but if so I would +1 for Architecture: Half-timbered Tudor style Architecture: Roof rakes Agriculture and Zoology: Raising livestock
  20. For what I understood when having the opportunity to met set designers, most prototypes goes to the bin and gets recycled to new bricks. Some sits for a while in the designers desk before they to eventually goes in the bin as well, When it comes to preliminary boxes I have no clue, but I never spotted any in the vault visitors are allowed into. But I guess they trash them to, no need of keeping them or the builds after taking pictures of them i guess.
  21. This was so nice to see at the event.. It's a really nice build.Very Impressive and not a build You see every day!
  22. Thanks! Comments and tips for improvement appreciated!
  23. "The Saab (formerly Ericsson Microwave Systems AB) GIRAFFE Radar is a family of land and naval two- or three-dimensional G/H-band (4 to 8 GHz) radar-based surveillance and air defense command and control systems tailored for operations with medium- and Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) missile or gun systems or for use as gap-fillers in a larger air defense system. The radar gets its name from the distinctive folding mast which when deployed allows the radar to see over nearby terrain features such as trees, extending its effective range against low-level air targets. The first systems were produced in 1977. By 2007, some 450 units of all types are reported as having been delivered." (taken from Wikipedia ) Here is my take on it! Front view with container legs down for deployment of container. Back view with access door. "Here Killer is a bone for you sweetie" The empty truck. Inspirational picture Link to flickr with bigger pictures (bigger not better ) Link to commercial video of the system.
  24. Here are my pictures on Flickr (many featuring the traveling figs from my lug Swebrick , Sven and Eva)
